Seabird Shack: Dog Friendly, Downtown Pensacola!

  • Welcome to the Pensacola bungalow “Seabird Shack”. A spacious 3-bedroom, 1-bath historic home that features amenities, linens and hardwood flooring. Bring along your four-legged friends (pet fee required) so they can enjoy the fenced-in backyard while you relax on the patio. Please make sure to pay the pet fee or a penalty fee is added of $100 as well as the $100 pet fee if the pet staying is undisclosed. Pensacola is "the oldest city established in America" and it all began downtown. Enjoy our rich history and beautiful white beach while you visit us. Just minutes from downtown, this spot also features easy access to Pensacola Beach, Naval Air Station, and many other Pensacola hotspots! Be sure to check the Pensacola event calendar - we are known as the “Festival City of the South” and there is always something going on!

    Tearing down the old homes and building new shotgun style homes are all around our Seabird Shack. The downtown Pensacola area is changing. Lots of new restaurants, bars, attractions and a minor league baseball stadium. Home to the Navy Blue Angels precision flying team (watch them practice on Tues/Wed am), 2017 Southern Champion Blue Wahoos Double A professional baseball team, and plenty of special events will keep you busy while you are here.

    Fantastic location to our downtown Pensacola area. Historical to New homes, make sure you visit Joe Patti's' Seafood Shop, catch a Blue Wahoos baseball game or learn about the history of Pensacola while strolling the downtown streets. Of course, you are about 15 mins to our famous White Sandy Pensacola Beach. We Live Where Others Vacation.

Excellent Spot

We love everything about this place and would recommend it to others. If we come back to Pensacola, we will try to stay here or in any of their properties.

Easy to check in. Comfortable Standard size bed plus two other bedrooms, it’s a cute beach cottage with large kitchen, washer & dryer, dining room, living room and tv room. 1 bathroom with a full size bathtub. Had to move the fallen driveway gate to park the car. Previous tenants had not swept the floors very well.

This is a sweet and quiet home. The garden area and front porch stole my heart and I miss both dearly. Definitely will stay here again.

Clean & Tidy

The house was clean and well stocked with necessities. There was even wine! However, it wasn’t quite as close to downtown as we had hoped. Also, since it was just my husband and I we had plenty of places to sit comfortably, but if we had more people with us it wouldn’t have been as comfortable.

Family beach trip.

We had the BEST time at this property. The house was so cute and clean and we loved the big back yard. The communication between the property manager and me was great! She was so helpful and extremely nice. We will definitely be recommending this house to everyone.

Great place for a great price!

This was a nice place for us to stay, we enjoyed the little porch and the inside was comfortable. There were cute kitties across the street and the location was rather convenient as we wanted to be downtown, close to NAS Pensacola and the beach. We did ask about an early check in and were told we would be allowed in asap. We did not get in until after 4. That was a bit disappointing but we figured it out.Overall, the space worked for us as 3 adults, it was clean and check out was easy-sweep and lock up.

Happy New Year 2024

Mrs. Cynthia's place was amazing!! I am a United States Merchant Mariner, and my family and i were in town for New Years, and we couldn't have asked for a better home, and host!! Very convenient to everything, quiet neighborhood, and very clean!! Highly recommend Mrs Cynthia's place in Pensacola, or any other properties available she is affiliated with!! We will definitely be coming back soon to stay again!!

Navy folks

Nice older home. Comfortable and presentable with basic accommodations provided. We wish the fencing around the property had been in better shape. We thought it best to keep our dog on a leash at all times for fear she would find an escape hatch.Other than that, nice place.

Lights Out

We went to have a great time and we did. It was the wedding of the century at the Pensacola Yacht Club. Everything was fine however the lights throughout the house were a mess. Worked occasionally or not at all, likely a safety hazard. Regardless, the place was clean and ok. Accommodated our German Shepard very well and she behaved well.

Centrally located to all my interests.

The property was clean and inviting. Many things were provided that we needed. Roomy house close enough to downtown, beaches, and the naval base. We had a wonderful time and the house made a great place to rest to go out and do it all again every day we were there. When we weren’t running around collecting shells we hung out in the backyard. Great place! I will be returning. Thank you!

Evacuated from Hurricane Helene

We quickly evacuated from Hurricane Helene and booked this trip the day before we needed to leave. The property manager was very responsive and allowed us to get in early. The property was fine for what we needed and the manager was very accommodating. Wished there had been a few more pots/pans to be able to cook meals. If you plan to stay and prepare your meals, you will need to bring a baking sheet, aluminum foil, etc.

Access to everywhere

This is a great property if you want quick access to the beach, shopping, downtown and great restaurants. Cozy, well furnished home. Older property, but we’ll maintained. The wood floors are beautiful. Spent quality time on the screened in front porch. Perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee! Cynthia was a true pleasure to work with. Great communicator. No real issues, but when we had questions, she was quick with responses. This will be our “go to” place when we visit Pensacola!

Checking out Pensacola!

This property served its purpose for us. We were close to downtown, Perdido Key, and Gulf Breeze. We were wanting to familiarize ourselves to the various neighborhoods in the area as we plan to buy a house there. This house is actually in between 2 houses that are in very poor condition. However, you find that a lot in this area. We had no problems with it.
