We were very pleased with the condo. It was clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend. We loved being able to see the Gulf from our room. During our stay only one elevator was working so that did cause long waits but that was the only issue we had.

We go to Fort Walton Beach Florida every year, this year we decided to stay at Gulf Dunes, it was a wonderful stay, so wonderful that we stayed an extra day and we will definitely stay there again.

NICE BUT NEEDS A REFRESH

Had some small issues one the first day. The shower head in the master bath and coffee maker not in working order. Sent an email and they were both fixed within 20 Mins Which was awesome. The unit wasn't very clean overall . Pink mold in the bathroom and a wet spot with mold on the wall by the bar in the kitchen. The master bedroom mattress was in dire need of replacement. Very hard and felt like sleeping on a stack of springs. Overall I'd stay there again if they got a new mattress and gave it a good deep clean.

The view in the units and the closeness of it on the beach. The resort is quite and not a lot of people. This is our 8th year to stay at this resort. All but one year was fabulous. The unit had bugs but all other years we have stayed was perfect. I will return again. One suggestion the only thing missing on these units is a hot tub.

Disappointed that floors were not as clean as we thought they should be . Trash found when we had to move headboard of bed to use electrical outlet. Some outlets did not work. There were no hand towels for the bathrooms.

Awesome beach vacations spot

This property is perfect for our annual girls trip. This is the second year that we have stayed at Gulf Dunes and we love it. It couldn't be more convienent, right on the beach and Stewby's (best seafood and hushpuppies ever) is a 2 minute walk from the condo. We will be booking at Gulf Dunes for our 2022 trip!

Nice Stay

Everything was great. Only 2 small issues, one was a few of the dishes put away appeared to still be dirty. This was our 2nd time staying at Brooks and Shorey property and just got an email post stay about getting a discount next time because we've stayed there before. Why didn't we get a discount this time which was our 2nd time? Other than those 2 very minor issues the stay was great.

Clean and well kept

My husband and I took his parents with us and our children for a spring break getaway. I believe this is the first vacation condo/ house we have rented that had no complaints from my mother in law about cleanliness issues! The little restaurant across the street is great and it’s within walking distance of the Gulfarium and Boardwalk, which is a plus. Great stay!

Exceeded Expectations!!

This was the first time I rented a condo in Fort Walton for a family trip. From the moment we walked in, everything was great!! The accommodations were really nice and the view was perfect. My grandchild loved the bunkbed!! We had such a great time and this condo will now be my "go to" for our next visit.

Great stay

My mother, husband, and I stayed here for an "alternative" Thanksgiving this year and it was perfect. Everything was as we expected it to be. Coming from a more restrictive state, we were a little hesitant visiting during the Covid-19 pandemic since Florida has so few rules - but Publix and Wal-Mart both required masks and most people complied. Since we mostly stuck around the condo, golfed, and walked on the beach, we didn't feel that our Covid risk was increased at all.

We lived the location and the amenities of this location. The condo was pretty dirty though and they said they only clean walls and baseboards once year. Other than the super clean factor it was really nice.

Perfect Beach Retreat

Everything about this location was amazing. The beds were all very comfortable. All kitchen necessities were available. The den and balcony was very comfortable and accommodating to a family of five. The beach chairs and umbrella were a super nice included benefit. The management was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for providing such a great place to stay. If I could give more than five stars I would!!
