Updated and comfortable

We loved the nearby dog beach! The clubhouse across the street at the beach put out chairs and umbrellas, which was fabulous, and the food was good as well. We especially enjoyed the kayak tour about 5 minutes away.

Getaway

Property managers were great, house was clean and convenient. The shuttle information was incorrect, but the manager said they would correct for next guest. Overall fantastic rental!

fall beach trip

Clean and as advertised. Enjoyed the 1 free round of golf every day and the beach club is awesome. The only critical complaint would be bed comforters and sheets are not of good quality, which is an easy fix. The mattresses are great, but the linens I do expect better from this $$$ type of rental.

Nice location and overall clean

Overall, the place is well laid out and clean. Nice view from the porch. However, we did find two pieces of very large sausages (one in a bedroom, and one on the screened in patio). The area is a great location to beach club and pool and local restaurants. It is a safe and friendly community. One downside is that the pool is not heated, and when the weather can unexpectedly be 60s in March no one could really use the pool. Also, one of our key cards did not work all week for entry, but we were able to use just one. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and owners were easy to contact.

Nightmare at this property .

We sent this email to The hoster Dan and Patti , they never to reply : “ Dear Dan and Patti, Property 14481 Salt Meadow Dr that have ther termintes As we spoke yesterday about the issue with the termites, here are the pictures and videos. Starting on Wednesday June 1st, 2022 at around 11:15 pm our daughters screamed and we ran upstairs to find termites were everywhere. You have a lovely place. Unfortunately, termites infested your property. Termites were in the toilets, beds, sofa, floor, ceiling, and evidently they have been in the property for quite some time because there were lots of dead termites in the track of the patio sliding door. If you knew termites were a problem like you said, you should have told us on the listing or treated it before our stay. I understand it's termite season and you can't control nature but you can control the termite infestation in the house and get rid of them. We didn't call you when we first found them at 11:30 pm on Wednesday, June 1st because it was late at night and we took care of it ourselves temporarily. For awhile, we didn't see any new termites until I got up Saturday morning so it was probably there since Friday. I am letting you know to ask for you to extend a little courtesy to your guests for a small compensation for the inconvenience that we experienced. Especially our children who got so scared they refused to use the second restroom again. I am not asking for a full refund as you incorrectly assumed and accused us of. The small compensation is up to your discretion as to what you see fit. Do what you feel is right for your customer. I am also attaching pictures and videos. I will also forward this email to VRBO. dog friendly community

very nice new property... great location... dog friendly ... beaches are not dog friendly... gated dog beach and park less than a mile away on river road very nice!

SeaKist Retreat

SeaKist Retreat is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature, the beach, great food and shopping! There are so many activities, it is hard to fit them all in! The unit was very clean and has a very homey feel to it. I highly recommend this property for your next Florida getaway!

Gorgeous townhome, extremely clean!

I want to begin by saying, our family had the absolute best trip to Perdido Key and this property was hands down the best home we’ve had the pleasure of staying. We have four children 9, 6, 3, and 2 and this home was the perfect size for us. It was so incredibly clean, decorated top notch, plenty of space, the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, the pools are amazing, and the beach is just across the street. There is public beach access parking right next to the Lost Key beach club. Very convenient. We were able to load and unload just fine. We will definitely book this property again!

Fantastic Condo!!

We were extremely pleased with everything about this rental! The location is so quiet and the amenities are fantastic! Having a private beach club and beach area was phenomenal! We will definitely be returning!

Family Beach Trip

The condo was very cozy and had a great balcony. The walk to the beach was short. Only negatives in condo is master bedroom door would not keep shut. Also more towels would be appreciated with families. Outside of the condo the Lost Key gate staff were less than friendly. I left my key card behind and had left my parking pass with other vehicle as we were I my given one. I was treated poorly by staff. This was on more than one occasion. Power trip to say the least.

Wonderful Long Weekend

I had a wonderful long weekend at SeaKist Retreat. This beach home is in immaculate condition, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The back deck has a lovely view overlooking the nature preserve. It’s so convenient to get to the beach, restaurants, bars and shopping. I had a great time and can’t wait until I can go back again!

Great location and nice amenities

Almost new townhome with nice furnishings and great kitchen set up for cooking, with lots of utensils, pots, pans, etc. Would be nice if they supplied a couple extra towels and soap for the secondary baths, but very clean. Nice beach club, fitness center and two outdoor pools. It was very quiet and peaceful, not crowded at the beach.

Would stay here again!

The place was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was nice to walk the dog and go for a run in. Very quiet and convenient to lots of restaurants and things to do. You could walk to the beach but it would be a long way if carrying a lot of stuff. We drove over just across the street to the public access beach. Really great to have a garage to park in. There were plenty of toiletries. I never found any beach towels. We brought a couple but could have used more. Overall a great place to stay and we would do it again.

Beautiful house and nice community

The house was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The beds were wonderful. We appreciated having room to spread out! Kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate and very modern. Loved the master shower. Found everything we needed. We always bring extra dish soap and trash bags. Also would bring plastic wrap or foil for leftovers if eating in. The garage is also a great benefit to keep your car protected and out of the sun. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Great place to walk your dog with sidewalks and doggie waste stops. The pool was huge and never too crowded. Plus it was an easy short walk from the townhouse. Neighbors are pretty close on the back decks. Not a huge problem, but something to consider if you don’t like that kind of interaction! The only real downside to this beautiful place was the distance to the beach. The bikes were a bit wobbly so we didn’t use them. I would definitely recommend renting bikes or a golf cart as the beach was a 0.75 mile walk. We couldn’t really figure out the shuttle and never could get anyone at the “front desk” to answer questions. I did appreciate the pedestrian crosswalk stop as the street to cross is quite busy. The beach was nice and not too crowded. The beach club restaurant/ bar was very good and convenient. We would have eaten here daily - but they were closed Monday and Tuesday. Overall I gave it 4 stars due to just a little too far to walk and not great beach side parking available. But the accommodations were EXTREMELY comfortable.

Best in Lost Key

We had a wonderful time at SeaKist Retreat. Very clean and well appointed. Really comfortable beds. Balcony overlooks nature reserve. Beach club is quite nice. Good food in the restaurant. Great beach with shaded beach chairs. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back.

Spacious, clean and cozy

We had a beautiful stay in this house. It is clean, newly renovated and well equipped. The master bedroom has a very large elegant bathroom. It is a twin house and you will have neighbors on porch right next to you. But a short walk to the pool and jacuzzi; a very short car ride or bike ride to the beach, Or a 10 minute walk. We loved that we could take our dog. Note: you will have to walk steps to get to main floor, and again to bedroom floor.
