Will Stay Again!

We loved the condo, location, and amenities! There’s nothing better than ending your day being able to get in your private hot tub at night. The kids loved the lazy river, and the walk to the beach was easy. This was our first time staying bayside, and we will stay again! The condo was clean with comfortable beds and having the beach cart and chairs was very helpful!

Luxury View

It was an amazing stay. My aunt is already requesting that we stay again next month. The staff is very nice and attentive. The beds were comfy and home decor was well appointed. We vacationed at the same time as a lot of kids out for fall break. However, we never heard any outdoors noise inside of the unit from the fun being had outside in the pool.

Senior Trip 2024

This unit was perfect for my daughter’s senior trip! We enjoyed the rooftop hot tub, especially to watch the fireworks. There were so many pools for everyone to relax in including the lazy river. The restaurants within walking distance were also a plus. We will definitely be making another trip in the future.

Everything was great, but the place could have been cleaner. The frying pans need to be upgraded as we couldn’t even fry eggs and had to wash all the dishes and anything we used in advance. The dishwasher also needs to be changed. Zip ties won’t fix the damages. The place also needs 10 mugs if it hosts ten guests etc.

Beautiful place , great for big family

We loved staying here! The condo had everything you could need ! Would definitely stay here again. Views are beautiful, especially from the rooftop. We did struggle with the temperature in the condo. We could never get all the rooms and living room at the same temperature…this could very well be user error though. We did get a significant amount of rain. It rained so hard that several times rain came in the condo from the front door. We had to use bath towels to stop the flooding. Would suggest putting something under the door to stop the rain from coming in like that. This just added laughter to our vacation though. :) 5 out 5 would recommend staying here!

Loved our penthouse condo at Destin West. Was beautifully decorated. Our kids loved the hot tub on the roof. The lazy river was awesome. Being able to swim in the ocean and the bay was really cool! Would definitely recommend.

Spacious + Modern + Clean = Wonderful

We brought my senior parents and 11 year old son and everyone loved it. Huge private rooftop area, beautiful bedrooms, living room and kitchen, fun pool/river and a quick walk across the bridge to the beach. We’ll be back!

We had a fantastic time. The condo is exactly as described. Plenty of beds and even a pack n play for the baby. The resort is nice—we have been before and really enjoy it. I wish they would heat the pools a bit more when the weather is cooler. It was in the 50s two of the days. The condo had everything we needed with the exception of smart tvs. We could not figure out how to use the tv to switch to Netflix and we couldn’t use our other streaming services. Not crucial but it did rain a couple times and a family movie would have been nice. Instead Momma got to watch hallmark mysteries (my favorite channel). Easy access to the beach although I would say it takes more like 15 minutes if you have the wagon to pull. I cheated and drove across the street and parked on the first floor garage as I also had a baby to transport. The beach chairs and beach wagon very nice and lots of sand toys, umbrella and even a baby float. This condo more than met our needs. 4 young men ranging in ages 15-21, a mom and a 7 month old. Toaster, toaster oven, microwave came in handy. Kitchen was well supplied. Lots of towels. Beds were comfy. We all had a great time.

Great Destine Vacation

Herron PH9 is an excellent property, the listing/pictures are spot on. The high ceilings and large hallway made the condo feel open and spacious. My husband and I took our two teens and they each brought a friend and we still had plenty of privacy. We love the sound side and loved that this property provides direct water access to the sound Would highly recommend this property for your next family vacation!

Wonderful time for all ages

Destin West is a very nice place to stay. We stayed on the bay side. The lazy river will keep most of your group satisfied for hours. There are four other pool areas, covered seating and lounge chairs all around to enjoy as well. If you are interested in going to the beach, a walking bridge is available to safely go from side to side. Our condo was clean, well maintained, comfortable and well stocked for all our eating and drinking needs. There was also a wine cooler which was a nice touch. The rooftop balcony was wonderful. Whether bbq'ing in the evening or early morning coffee it was peaceful, breezy and comfortable. Parking and traffic can be tricky, but I always found early mornings provided the best opportunities for both. Heron PH-09 was awesome!! Thank you David and all the team at coastal vibe for making all this so easy. We will definitely be contacting you for our next beach vacation!

Property was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. Destin West is our favorite resort in the area. We had a couple of minor issues and they were right on top of handling very quickly. The on-site manager was great and very helpful. I would highly recommend!

Clean and beautiful Penthouse with responsive mgmt

Place was great/beautiful and they had everything we needed while there including a blender, couch blankets, and more. The mgmt was super responsive when we needed to tell them something and they let us check in early to our surprise! Highly recommend.

Great property

Great location. Loved the proximity to the beach, the bay, and the boardwalk. Didn't have to drive many places, which was great since traffic is a MESS! Close enough to Destin to make the trip a couple times (go early and leave early!) for a visit to the gator farm and a morning dolphin cruise. Overall a great place for kids and adults. Highly recommend and look forward to booking in the future!
