Dirty

First impression was not the best. The tiles were scuffed and as it turns out, dirty. My feet turned almost black after walking barefoot for the first hour. There was an odor that never left during our stay. Paint on walls were not completed and the cable outlet was completely exposed in one bathroom. My bed was dirty and disgusting and they came back to put a mattress cover on it (it should be completely replaced). Sheets were changed and had to ask for a new comforter/blanket bc it was in the floor as it was replaced. Fan didn’t work in one bedroom. The location is wonderful but they will have to do a lot of work on this unit for me to stay in this condo again. Check in and out could have been via email, you really didn’t need to go to the location for codes and parking pass. Management staff were very friendly and my concerns about cleanliness were addressed immediately. However, no one came to clean anything else.

Totally Enjoyed Our Stay

This was our second year as snowbirds at Perdido Key… first was on the beach which was nice but we found that we enjoyed staying at the Caribbean East was much more enjoyable due to its location next to a road that led to Johnson Beach and much less traffic. The unit itself had some age on it but we were happy with it overall… the cleaning crew left a lot to be desired - my wife spent a couple hours cleaning it, however the property management was top shelf they were very responsive and professional. We booked next year at the same complex but different condo.

Great management company

This condo is managed by Perdido Key florida and they are an awesome group of people. You may want to just look them up and rent directly for some cost savings. I already gave a review titled A month with a path to the beach. Check it out.

A month with a pathway to the beach

This condo was/is awesome. It is very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. The whole place is decorated with the beach in mind and is adorable. The place was very clean. You can see and hear the waves hit the beach. The deck is perfectly situated with morning sun. There are two doors you can open in the dining living area for a great breeze. The management company gave great suggestions for food and coffee shops. They were awesome and most of them off the beaten path. The location couldn't be better. 5 stars for sure.

Perfect long weekend

The late check in process was flawless. The property was quaint, quiet and very clean. Proximity to the beach with the boardwalk was perfect. Absolutely no complaints. Will definitely stay here again!

Great condo

We enjoyed our stay! The unit has been updated since the pictures were taken so it looks even better than the pictures. Everything was neat and clean. Location is great. We were able to walk to the beach. The pool was nice and not crowded at all. The only thing I would mention is that the unit only sleeps 5 people now instead of 8 like the description says. When the unit was remodeled the sleeper sofa was taken out and one of the bunks in the hallway was removed. That wasn’t a problem for us but it could be for someone else. I let the owner know so hopefully the description will be updated soon. Overall we loved our stay!

Close to the beach and a nice place

We like that this is a smaller complex that isn't as busy as the high rises. We love how close the condos are to the beach. It was clean and stocked with what we needed. The kids enjoyed the bunks in the hallway!

complaints not taken serious

the condo was dirty, tv in living room worked when it wanted to. There was a dirty tshirt in the bed between the pillows, had to ask for new sheet set, but smart mouth cleaning supervisor only brought sheets, she said we didn't ask for pillow cases. We took them off and washed them, fruit roll up wrappers found in the side of the chair and under the chair and couch, dirty little splash balls found on the side and under the tv table, and two chairs outside on the balcony looked like it had poop on the everywhere, the man fixing the tv took them and never returned. Also the patio door windows were very dirty. The silverware in the drawer was dirty. Will never stay in that condo again. As for the visit in perdido it was fun the storm didn't help but we made the best of it. The elevator sounds like it is going to fall apart at the condo. Carribean east sucks. nothing like the carribean west. Perdidio and the area is pretty and great but the condo sucked for the money.
