I hesitated booking this home it because of some other reviews. But this is a lovely home. Its clean, spacious, and well maintained. The pool is beautiful. It was November, so we didn't use the pool to swim, but the back yard and decks are spectacular, and we enjoyed spending time in the outside areas. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Highly recommend.

Misleading property title

We had a great time outside of staying at this property. The only reason we booked this property was for the private pool and the hot tub. We get to the property upon check in and discovered that the hot tub was not working. I messaged the property management and was told that the air blower button had never worked and that there was no way to heat up the hot tub at all even though on the side of the house there was clearly labeled hot tub and pool heater system. The pool filtration system was also not working and had dirt and debris. Half of the outlets didn’t work or would work for a day and then stop working. There were several switches that went to nothing and we never could find light switches for the outside lights to be able to sit on the deck at night and couldn’t find a light switch for the kitchen. We also had issues with the living room lights that would strobe sometimes when you flipped the switch. On the plus side, the property was very clean and check in and out was super easy.

Relaxing

Enjoy the property location, swimming pool and being so close to beach. The only thing was I called to get the spa heated and was charge for it but it never heated up. Was told we would be refunded. Pool lights didn’t work and the front door downstairs lock didn’t work. These minor things can make this place prefect.

Family Friendly

The location was good, it was clean and comfortable, and offered lots of privacy for our vacation. Being dog friendly was a bonus so we could bring our dog. The kids enjoyed the puzzles and books. They had plenty of cooking utensils and serve ware for cooking. Limited towels, so being extra of your own. We were looking forward to grilling, but the grill wasn’t in the best shape. The pool was nice, but did have lots of leaves and debris floating around. It didn’t bother us, we still swam and had a good time. The spa tub was warm. Although the listing says it can be “heated,” I contacted Vacasa three different times to pay for the additional heating, the customer service was as if they didn’t know the property (even telling me there was no spa tub, which there definitely was), and then told me I didn’t give them enough notification in advance. I contacted them 4 days in advance, again 2 days in advance, and again on the day of check in. It was still warm, not hot, and we enjoyed it anyway. Also, this apparently came with a complimentary beach service we didn’t realize until our last day. There was a laminated flyer on an end table. That should be written out in the listing or check-in email so future guests don’t miss out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Horrible property management

First off, read the fine print before booking the place if you have any interest in using the hot tub, because what's not displayed in the main listing (but to be fair is buried in the fine print) is where it says that you need to notify them 24 hours prior to when you want to use the hot tub and it's $75/day for a 3 day minimum, which although unexpected did not seem to be a problem until we called Vacasa to have it turned on and were told that it actually took 48 hours to heat and they wouldnt be able to send somebody until the next day. Even though that would only leave us with 2 nights of use, we exclusively booked this property for the spa, so we asked to have it turned on. Vacasa never sent anyone to turn it on and never called back about it. Also upon check-in we noticed obvious dirt all over the comforter's of some of the beds, so after driving 8 hours we were told to hold off on unpacking until cleaning crew could be sent back to property. We left and came back a few hours later to find the beds had been cleaned or at least brushed off, but there were still dead roaches in the floors. Vacasa was notified several times and each time we were told we would be called back and never were. We tried calling to resolve the issue multiple times and were never contacted back, and never offered any further assistance for the dead roaches or any of the issues we had called about. The property itself was nice, but after all that, we'll never give business to Vacasa again.

Would stay there again.

There were 10 of us staying and we were able to spread out. The house and the location were exactly as described. Nice area to walk/run in. The beach was not crowded in this area but I have no idea how it looks in the summer season. The area was very safe and did not have all of the 'cruising' that you run into in some of the other beach towns. Automated toll booths were a welcomed addition from the last time we visited Pensacola.

Family vacation

We rented this for spring break with another family, for a total of 9 people. The space was perfect for us, with the kids downstairs and the adults upstairs. We also had 2 dogs on the trip, and the large, fenced hard made it very easy to have them join us. The pool was perfect, and the proximity to the beach was great. We had to contact guest services twice, once because we didn’t have enough towels for everyone and once because a breaker tripped and we couldn’t find the fuse box. Both issues were resolved quickly and easily. I would definitely rent this house again.

Skip this one

House was clean, but beds and house were cheaper than a motel 6 and management was the same. Don't pay for the pool heat. I should have listen to the other reviews on here. It doesn't work, they lie and say it works and refused to refund me when proven that it doesn't work. Pool lights don't work either so swimming after dark is a no go. Poor communication between management. Starter items are cheap very little soaps and 1ply toilet paper and 1 thing if dishwasher soap. Just overall save your money and go stay somewhere else.

Sunshine Oasis 2024

We loved the property, however it was not ready for us and our family guests. Pool, deck, grill, outdoor cushions were not in acceptable condition when we arrived. After calls to the management company and having 7 people out the next day progress was made and by 5 days into our stay the property was in good condition. We enjoyed our stay and liked a lot of things about the area and the property

great house for family -esp like two areas to watch TV

House was very well equipped and very clean. The downstairs security lock did not respond to code(broken or different code needed?). The pool however was not unusable even after the"pool lady" visited . Looks like the filter is not working.

GREAT HOUSE! (Beware the extra Vacasa fees!)

Overall this house was AMAZING! Stylish, great location, fully equipped with anything you could want! We would 100% stay here again! The only thing I can complain about is that the hot tub was not working when we arrived. I immediately contacted the host (Vacasa) and asked if they could assist. Nearly 24 hours later they replied that there would be an additional fee of $75/day (3 day minimum) to heat/turn on the hot tub. They also said they needed 24 hours notice to send someone. By that point it was not worth the money. I reviewed the listing on VRBO many times and could find no mention of this anywhere. Upon searching the Vacasa App I was able to locate a section noting there would be an additional charge. I hope this review helps others plan ahead to enjoy this amenity as it is a huge selling point of the property

Overall, the house itself was great however, the property management company the house is listed under was terrible. I addressed several concerns re: cleanliness upon arrival, as well as some broken items and nobody ever followed up or got in touch with me after the many calls, text, and emails that I sent.

Summer get away

Inside house very good, plenty of items such as dishes etc… had to clean pool prior to getting in due to lawn maintenance had mowed and blew gas into pool. Hot tub was advertised but no where mentioned it was only available during off season in November so felt like it was false advertising. Light switches were not working properly. But the house was awesome .
