We had such a great week. Property is clean and kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Perfect location, and we watched the dolphins everyday. Can't wait to come back next summer. Thanks for everything!

Pensacola Beach Getaway

The location of this condo is in a quiet area but an easy drive to restaurants and shopping. Having the sound in the back yard and the gulf across the street was convenient. There were a couple days that the ocean was too rough. On those days, we enjoyed the sound. It was nice to be able to walk out to the sound and watch the sunsets. The condo was nicely appointed. The back deck was nice to sit and watch the water. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need while you're there. We would rent this home again.

Beautiful Beach Property

We enjoyed our stay in San De Luna 2. This beautiful waterside property offered ample space for sleeping all 5 of us, a fabulous patio set to enjoy the views, and adorable decor. We would definitely book again!

Loved that the beach was just across the street. The sound side was calm and peaceful. I also liked that it was at the end before Fort Pickens but still within reach of restaurants and stores. Just beautiful

Location was amazing!

We rented this condo for close beach & bay access; which was wonderful to navigate windy days. Also wanted to be close to National Park Seashore & Ft. Pickens. Great biking opportunities from this location! Communication with host was good. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Spent 4 days on Pensacola beach. Although the weather was not perfect, the condo was great for being inside during the thunderstorms. When not raining we took advantage of the beach access right across the street and collected shells. We played Pickelball on the tennis courts on two separate occasions.

Beautiful and Fun

We stayed for the month of February and had a wonderful time. The bay is right out the back door, and the beach is directly across the street. The water is clear and beautiful. The condo is exactly as described and worked out perfectly for us for our stay. We appreciated having beach chairs and toys available to use.

Girls' Vacation - Helene Not Welcome

If your purpose in visiting Pensacola Beach is beach time and a quiet place to stay - this is the place. The location of the rental was perfect. Only a 10-minute drive to the touristy part of Pensacola Beach, you don't feel like you're removed from everything. BUT, you are located off the beaten path, so it is quiet and the beaches feel private. Walk across the street to access the big beach and to see the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. Walk to the shoreline of the Sound behind you to see the beautiful sunsets. The living area level patio is slightly covered and offers an amazing view of the Sound. There is room for two cars to park under the unit (to protect them from the direct sunlight and too much sand). As the other reviews state, the decor of the unit is a bit dated. But, unless you plan to spend all your time inside, it shouldn't bother you. I do want to mention, there is a spiral staircase from the living area up to the bedrooms and it is narrow. Plan your luggage usage accordingly and I wouldn't recommend it for small children. If my travels bring me this way again, I will definitely check this unit's availability for another stay.

Great Location

The location of this property is excellent…located on the sound side & just across the road from the gulf side beach & right next to the entrance to Ft Pickens National Park. Not a lot of traffic on the road. Lots of good food options close by. Excellent communication with the owner & property manager.

Old, Not Clean, Good Location: Better Options out there

I recently stayed at a beach house that had an excellent location—just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to local attractions. However, the experience was somewhat marred by the house's decor and furnishings, which felt outdated and in need of a refresh. While the house itself is structurally sound, the interior is weighed down by old, worn-out furniture and décor that detracts from the overall comfort. The cleanliness was also an issue, with several areas needing attention. Given the price, there are certainly better options available that offer more modern and well-maintained accommodations. If you’re seeking a more contemporary and clean environment for a similar rate, it’s worth considering other properties in the area.

Weekend get away

Property is great. Love the location . We enjoyed the bay and the beach. The only negative was pull out sofa was very uncomfortable and there were candy wrappers behind the sofa that we noticed while pulling out sofa bed. Otherwise we loved the property .

Great Location and Great Communication - needs Updated and Cleaned

Charlotte is a great host and was excellent communicating during the booking process as well as during the stay. The listing on VRBO was not up to date and we thought we would have beach towels so she told us to go buy some and she reimbursed us promptly. The listing also said checkout was 11:00 and she said everything in the condo said 10:00. So we had to be out at 10:00. The unit needs to be updated and have a deep cleaning. We have stayed at 3 other units at San Deluna and this one was pretty worn down. There was dust on the window sill about 1/2 in thick and the whole place smelled a little musty. The kitchen floors were sticky and had sand on them when we first arrived. A fresh coat of paint, cleaning and new flooring would make a world of difference. All in all we had a great week and couldn't ask for a better location.

Perfect!

Wonderful experience in such a beautiful place. Condo was as described, clean with comfy beds. The condo's kitchen is well appointed, but we chose instead to enjoy the best food at Shaggy's and Peg Leg's for just about every meal! But even better is the location. Trifecta of water sports with the bay in back for kayaking, boating, and beautiful sunsets, the short walk over the dunes to the spectacular beach and blue-green water, and the pool just steps from the back patio. Host was extremely helpful and very quick to respond. Perfect vacation. We will definitely return.
