"Rooms were nice and clean but we had an annoying noise coming from an air vent inside a wardrobe that drove us wild, made them aware and they attempted a bodge to cover it up but it still persisted and spoiled our sleep. The only other complaint is when we were dining a family with young children had been eating beside us and the kids had food on the floor, due to the hot weather there were a lot of flies about and they were congrigating around the food on the floor. "Onernight stay on way to Scotland. Lovely quiet location within a few miles of M6. Friendly staff, clean pleasant room. Had evening meal in the restaurant which was very good. Enjoyed it so much we repeated the experience on the way back! Second night room was a bit smaller but fine for overnight.
