"Only stayed for 1 night. We got to the property late and we self checked in, we were left forms for breakfast and filled them in. Beds were comfortable, owners were lovely and breakfast great. All around good stay!"

"Absolutely lovely pub hotel. Rooms were great, comfortable beds, great selection of tea/coffee sachets in the room and a good smart TV. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. So quiet and peaceful but 3 minute drive to Ullswater. I walked down to Aira Force from the hotel which was a bonus. We'll be back!"

"What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. "Onernight stay on way to Scotland. Lovely quiet location within a few miles of M6. Friendly staff, clean pleasant room. Had evening meal in the restaurant which was very good. Enjoyed it so much we repeated the experience on the way back! Second night room was a bit smaller but fine for overnight. "

"Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, showing us where to park. The cooler breakfast was really nice. The room was absolutely boiling and even with the windows open all evening it was a poor nights sleep. No aircon and only a little fan. Very firm mattress but it realise this is preference. My husband loved it but I didn’t sleep at all. Close to amenities and nice and quiet. Overall would stay again."
