"We had the most wonderful stay at East View – it truly felt homely, comfortable, and cosy from the moment we arrived. The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace. Lana was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us. She went above and beyond to organise a delicious vegan breakfast and made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable. "This was the most incredible stay I could have asked for! The breakfast was lovely, the home felt very cozy, and she had the fire lit every evening for a warm and welcoming sitting area. The only thing I would say is, as a Uni student with no car, plan with bus routes! They only come around every hour, and the BnB is a bit remote. A lovely view of the lake, the gardens, the chickens, and the neighbors sheep! I will absolutely come here again :) "

"It's the staff that make this hotel stand out , closely followed by the food ,which was apparent during breakfast no short cuts on quality, using local suppliers. The biggest surprise was the Saturday nights entertainment with a local group playing all the classics. Rooms in keeping with the traditional vibe that goes with the rest of the hotel. "

"Breakfast was great, staff were attentive and the place was very clean. Theres lots to do close by, plenty of trails and next towns are maybe 5-10 mins away if you fancied more. My mrs and I were really happy with everything and would certainly recommend it to anyone!"
