"The property was as pictured. The rooms were cleaned and towels well stocked. The kitchen also had the basics needed for cooking. It was missing the fire pit- however once notified, they brought a fire ring right over. Construction right next door and it is on the main drag so road noise is pretty significant. Also near the concert venue so if there is an artist playing, you will hear it."

Located in a quiet neighborhood and within a short drive to everything we had on our to-do list. We had a wonderful time and would 100% book with Holly again on a return trip."

The story book detailing the construction of this three story house (first floor owner occupied, second/third floor rental) was a heartwarming account of the process and a unique way to meet the owner. "We had a great stay here! It was quiet, clean, and private, while still being convenient to Acadia National Park. We loved staying on the western side of the island. The host, Becky, was fantastic. She made us feel welcome and went the extra mile when our late arrival meant we got there after the grocery and convenience stores closed.
