"It was quite clean. No 'staff' to deal with. Kitchen and bath area quite clean and adequate. I'm 6-foot, 0-inches tall. Shower stall had a direct, overhead 8" shower-head, maybe 6 foot, 4 inches high... would prefer a hand-held shower head, but that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, ceilings in Kitchen and Bath/Shower room areas were quite adequate and could stand straight with plenty of ceiling space.
Banged my head pretty well on the low ceiling portion in first 5 minutes of entering...

"This is a very nice, comfortable, cozy and clean option for staying in the heart of Gettysburg. We found the parking behind the house very convenient as you can walk to any location in the town with ease- and sometimes it’s hard to find parking. Also the house itself is in very good condition with lots of room and amenities. We never once heard the people staying in the lower apartment. It felt very safe and private. Thank you for opening your doors and providing a non hotel option."

"In for the weekend with friends and adult kids for our annual meet up. This home was by far the best place we've stayed in Gettysburg over the years. The location was perfect for hitting the downtown area businesses and restaurants. Very clean, well stocked, and the host was always reachable in a short time to answer any questions. "This historic railroad house was a great place to stay while in Gettysburg. One thing, since the address is Railroad street, it's true. The train goes by a few times a day, blowing its horn and the track is about 40 yards away from the front porch. Wasn't a bad thing, just forewarning. Working with Chris was great. We really enjoyed our stay."

"The house was pretty great for what we needed. Found it odd that you had to go through bedrooms to get through bedrooms, but for our girls trip, it wasn’t a problem. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Water pressure is not great and smelled of sulfur when running, and shower was harsh. But overall not bad. Lots of air conditioning. Plenty of sitting space. Weather was too humid to enjoy outside. Nice large fridge. Laundry if needed. Downstairs half bath & up stairs full bath."
