This was my family’s second stay, and it was equally enjoyable to the first. The home is well kept and the amenities met all of our needs. If we are fortunate enough to schedule another trip to the area, we will plan to stay longer.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin on Seneca Lake! The booking process was smooth and easy, and the owner was fantastic with communication from start to finish. The property itself was well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The covered deck was one of our favorite spots, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the lake views no matter the weather. The dock was also excellent, making it easy to enjoy time by the water. The location truly couldn’t be better, with convenient access to everything while still feeling peaceful and private.We also loved how dog-friendly the property was,our pup felt right at home! Overall, it was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.

Dalton Cottage is a peaceful location right on Seneca Lake. It had a fulled fenced in yard so our dogs could play (completely secure even for little dogs) and even had a doggy door they loved to use! Our dogs loved it. The deck was amazing to have coffee on every morning and the water was so clear!

We had a wonderful stay with the most amazing views. Beautiful sunrise view each morning and direct access to the lake from a private dock. The host provided everything we could need for our stay. Very easy communication from the host. Overall, great stay with family.

The host is excellent with communication, the property is well kept and dog friendly! Safe, fenced in area where everyone can be together. The sunrises are amazing and so is the expansive view of the lake. 10 out of 10 for relaxation! Close to wineries and shopping as well.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the cottage. It was on a quiet street with no one around. The house was fully equipped. The convenience of the fenced in yard and doggy door was awesome for our pups. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock even though he only caught one catfish. Unfortunately, there was no beach access to the water. You can't tell that from the pictures. Our dogs like to swim. The cottage is convenient to great wineries. We enjoyed hiking each morning with the dogs. The only downside was that the shower was very small. Overall, we had a great time.

Very nice property. Gary was very clear on rules, provided thoughts on things to do around the area (plenty of wineries and restaurants), and was very reachable for any questions. The place was very clean and is in a great location. Would rent again.

The owner is amazing with great communication. The place has an inviting cottage feel with a beautiful view of the lake. It is not difficult to walk down to the dock where we saw carp.. It had everything we needed. I loved that our dog was welcome to join us.

Very clean with everything you'd need at home away from home. Host is very attentive! Wasn't the best location for us, however this was my first trip to the area. I would have chosen a place closer to one of the cities. The bedrooms and bathroom are quite small. Front porch is nice and large.

Trout Derby weekend

Enjoyed the cottage and time with the family. Grilled steaks, hotdogs and hamburgs on the gas grill provided on the back deck. Fenced in back yard worked out well with the dogs. Fishing started out slow with high winds and rain but the last day was gorgeous and we ended up catching 4 lakers.

Family Weekend

Located at the end of a dirt road along the lake, this cozy home leaves little to be desired. It’s off the beaten path and provides seclusion as well close proximity to the wide variety of wineries and towns in the area. The host was wonderful; calling before our arrival to ensure there were no questions, and informing us of a temporary power outage the day we were to arrive. The home was well kept, fully stocked, and clean upon our arrival. The Finger Lakes is one of my favorite vacation destinations and I would happily stay at this location again.

Great stay with a beautiful view

This property was a perfect get away for me, my mom, and my dog! Beds were very comfortable and the fenced in yard was great to take my dog outside. Great view of the lake from inside and outside. Deck was nice and big. Wineries close by to do tastings. Geneva and Watkins Glen also close. Highly recommend Spotted Duck for ice cream.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend. It was very clean, perfect size for us three and had great amenities. We thought we would need the air conditioning but Gary is right with the windows open there was no need for it. Loved the location and look forward to possibly returning.

Sooooo much relaxation!

We love our vacations at this house on the lake, with our dog (who also loves it!!). The sunrises are incredible. With the porch swing, the covered and open decks, there is always a spot to sit and enjoy. The layout of the house is ideal, simple and easy to move around in. I highly recommend a stay here if you would love a truly relaxing, enjoyable vacation, local to many wineries, breweries and shops. I can't wait to return next year!

Awesome lake cottage

This property was very nice. We had a great view of Seneca Lake. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities! Very easy to contact the host if anything was needed. Highly recommend!

Lovely lakeside spot

Gary’s place was just what the doctor ordered. Cozy and clean, well-stocked, and secure. Gary’s communication was fantastic - he gave a heads-up on the sneaky railroad underpass to get to the house (which was totally fine for my sedan), and checked in at the beginning and ending of my stay. Very dog friendly! My pup absolutely loved the backyard and dock, and at 11 years old, she had her first experience with using a doggie door. Great location for quiet R&R, small town exploring (Geneva and Penn Yan are close), hiking (check the Keuka Outlet trail between Seneca and Cascade Falls), and wine tasting (Fox Run was great and very close). Thanks for a lovely stay!
