"New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there."

"The accommodation provides all that you need for a cozy, comfortable stay. All mod cons in a beautiful area. Although the weather did not cooperate the outside lounge area provides excellent views of the estuary"

"The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and dining area spacious and the bathroom clean and lovely. The hot tub was fun and having a real fire at night was cosy. The area is outstanding with so much to enjoy, the nearby pub food was extremely good"
