"Manitou Lodge is gorgeous! The lodge itself is amazing: rustic vibe with elk skins, lots of oversized furniture, games, books and big pillows. It would be perfect for a special occasion.If you are interested in the tent sites, number 3, 6, 7, and 9 are the largest and nicest in my opinion.I stayed at the Outback cabin which is the smallest cabin available. "2 adults and 1 kiddo (1st grader) stayed for 5 nights next to beautiful Lake Sutherland. Hot tub was wonderful. Barbecue was great to use. LOVED paddling with the kayaks and paddleboards! (Bring your own life vests) for a cool paddle try paddling west all the way to the creek at the end of the lake, you can paddle down aways in kayaks. The house was great for family of 3, appreciated small plates and kids DVDs. Wifi worked without any issues. Port Angeles was 20 min drive for any grocery needs....

"Absolutely fabulous property and the only negative is that 2 nights was not long enough! The neighborhood was very calm, peaceful and quiet which was just what we needed for the weekend getaway. The HUGE screen TV in movie room, jacuzzi, beautiful outdoor areas for seating, grilling out etc were amazing. Loved the decor throughout and attention to detail that the owners put in as the home was so well appointed with everything anyone would need. Had never been to this part of the Pacific...
