"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. "This place gave us just what we wanted...an immersive jungle experience complete with Squirrel and Capuchin monkeys, lots of birds including a daily visit from a roadside Hawk, giant Cane Toads and other frogs, and toucans and macaws flying over. "My family is so glad that we chose this property for our three-night stay in Bahía Drake! The house was spotlessly clean and included everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough outlets for charging all of our devices. The Wi-Fi worked well, when we needed it. "L'endroit est parfait pour explorer Baie Drake et en étant un peu retiré pour la tranquillité. Sebastian le proprio offre le service de taxi pour un prix très raisonnable. Le balcon donne sur les arbres et les singes viennent à cet endroit. Sécuritaire pour aller seule à pied au village le soir avec lampe frontale. 1 km de la mer et 2 km du village. "The property is a casita (mother-in-law apartment) within the gated property of the host. They have an additional rental. I liked that we were living like the locals do. The Casita is simple with a fantastic balcony. The hosts were wonderful although only the husband speaks English so communication once there was challenging. "We rented this in June 2023. I don’t think it had been rented much because it had very little wear and tear. I didn’t realize how beautiful the property really would be. The description just does not do it justice. The monkeys came right to the camp several times. The birds were everywhere. Golifito bay is right there. I really loved this place. The fans keep you pretty cool at night and we would all just take a cool outdoor shower before bed and slept well. I would definitely recommend this...

"It was very zen and comfortable there were plenty of hammocks that were nice there are nice places around and the host was very connective and was very welcoming the place is hourly cleaned and there was a nice grass based badminton court where you could play whenever. The kitchen is very easily accessible, with countless amenities, and multiple seating areas. The entire place is spotless at all times, and is the perfect place to relax. The pool is an amazing bonus, and has room for hours of fun...

"We had a bad experience with the hotel's social media support and management, but the hotel itself is very beautiful. The views are spectacular, and the staff's service is excellent—they're always available when you need something. I especially want to highlight the attention and the food from the cook, Lili. I truly believe the hotel would lose its essence without her. One thing to note: there are a lot of stairs, so you need to be in good shape to access the rooms."

"If you´re in the area look no further - stay here! A few steps from the a long beach you will have to yourself most of the time. Wonderful hosts Stuart and Jen will make you feel at home in this modern and perfectly maintained bungalow hotel - they really get what hospitality is about! My son (11) and I enjoyed the friendly chats, great healthy food, good coctails, and the surf lesson that Stuart organized for us. Very spacious, well furnished, comfortable rooms/bungalows with a lot of attention to detail (including finally enough space to hang everything in the bathroom, as well as perfectly filtered water so you really can drink from the tab). We hope we get a chance to stay here again!! "
