"Although the accommodation was clean and comfortable, (the loo serving 3 rooms was tiny) the owner has rules which he outlines immediately eg shoes off, cars parked in a certain way, breakfast between 8 and 815. He also has particular views about society and politics which he is very ready to share, most of which we disagreed with. We found him to be too forthright and it generated some tensions. If you like politics, military history and conspiracy theories, this place is for you."

"Treetops has 5 stars not because it’s the most beautiful location and room ever (it totally is), but the hosts are the most lovely people you will meet in all of Scotland. What an amazing time we had here. The room was gorgeous, the views were perfect and it had everything we could have ever wanted + needed. Will definitely be back in the future, can’t recommend them enough"
