We have stayed in Cyprus many times and used the same letting company before but I regrettably have to write this review. Having found the villa on Vrbo, the reviews looked good but I'm realising now why there are so few oddly. The ad for the villa is misleading. The photos are at least 10 years old going on the size of the palm trees from the ad to what we saw. I don't know where to start. Putting it bluntly the villa is extremely run down and tired. Needs a substantial overhaul and a thorough deep clean from top to bottom to outside. There is too many faults to mention. It was filthy on arrival. Dirty floors, dirty showers, dust everywhere, dirty marks on walls. Dirty washing machine. Just dirty. The pillows and mattresses are stained. The settees are past their date. Just everything in the villa needs replacing. Even the outdoor sunbeds are old and stained. The bath and hand towels are worn and didn't smell great. We had to wash them ourselves. Also got an old dirty mop and bucket out the cupboard to clean the floors. Ironing board was rusty and filthy. To top it off there was a dead cockroach under the children's bed. We did complain to management but goes on deaf ears. What can you do once you're there. You've paid a substantial amount for a holiday and you're stuck with it. My wife actually cried when she saw it. We regret having to write this but we feel people need to know where they're staying. I'm only allowed to upload 8 photos but I have many many more.

VILLA NAXOS -Luxury 3 bed 3 bath villa with exceptional view and private pool

Beautiful villa in a quiet, peaceful location on the hillside about 5 minutes by car into centre of Peyia. Amazing views both day and night of Coral Bay below. We watched the beautiful sunrise from our bedroom balcony. The check in process was easy. We arranged for a hire car to be left at the villa and the hire company met us at the airport to drive us to the villa as we were arriving late at night. It was a really useful having the welcome pack which was a thoughtful mix of bread, cheese, ham, butter, milk, tea, coffee, water, wine and beer. The washing up liquid and cloths were also appreciated. We arrived in early June with the daily temperatures at 36 degrees during the day so we really needed the air con at night. We did initially have a little difficulty getting the air con to work but Mal was extremely helpful and he made sure we had everything working. He was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and restaurants and gave us some great advice. Nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our quiet and relaxing stay at the villa and exploring the island. We visited Latchi and numerous other destinations along the coast near Paphos. One of our favourite stops was the village of Kathikas only 15 mins away. The villa was in a superb location and would thoroughly recommend.

An excellent villa in a perfect location

The villa was perfect for our fifth visit to Cyprus. The location is great, lovely and peaceful yet close to the beach, town, shops and everything you need. Spotlessly clean and with absolutely everything you need for a week away, with a lovely large kitchen and fantastic outdoor area. The rooms are all large and light, with comfy beds. The pool was spotless and perfect for the kids who swap every morning.

Favourite Town - New Favourite Villa

Fantastic Villa... 3 bedrooms but just the two of us, so spolied for choice. Master bedroom has fabulous views from the balcony. Everything you need, huge kitchen, stone sofas ( unusual but comfy !! ) , large sun terrace including 6 sunbeds abd of course the pool. Water bit chilly but then again weather was partly cloudy but it'd be ideal when temps reach 40.C !! Clean, spacious and a 20 minute walk across the hill to the centre of town. Car a must though for exploring further or shopping and bus service on a restricted timetable/route due to roadworks in the approach from Coral Bay to Pegia. Will definitely be back.. great comms and Robin does a great job of day to day maintenance and any issues.

Villia Naxos stay in May

The villa is very nice and spacious and well laid out and is easily big enough for 6 people to stay. if you really look it could do with a little bit of maintenance (a few cracked tiles on the patio and cracks in the walls ) but nothing to worry about. Plenty of sun loungers and chairs for the pool area and plenty of seating inside as well . The only downside we found was that the sun disappeared behind the hill at about 4.45 pm but it was still warm to sit outside.

A villa with great views

Great views across the valley, peaceful location, however in September, the sun has gone away from the pool area around 15:45. The villa has all that you need, but a car is advisable due to its remote location. The villa itself could do with some mantainence to keep it looking prestine and to replace some of the floor tiles out on the patio. Despite all of the above, I would highly recommend this villa.
