A spacious villa, reasonably well maintained but looking dated in some areas, the en- suite bathroom for example, though perfectly adequate needs updating as it looks unappealing. The aircon unit in the room is faulty and was reported and though the maintenance guy did come out and got it working the unit requires complete replacement. The kitchen is ok, the hob is shabby, the fridge/ freezer works well and there were enough pans and sauspans etc. to allow for a reasonable level.of cooking. It was helpful that some rubbish bags were left for our use but there wasn't anything else apart from some water in the fridge and some really cheap washing up liquid. The outside area was fine but the swing seat should be resited to the other side of the garden area as the bins are situated behind the hedge and the smell pervades so making it unpleasant to sit in. On the whole, we enjoyed our two weeks; we found the local people welcoming and friendly but were disappointed with Paphos as we found it shabby, charmless and overdeveloped and no sense of any Cypriot culture just so very english. Our highlight was the gem of a beach Corilla which we went to several times.
