Boleyn family stay in Peyia

Had a good stay, apartment was very well equiped and clean. Location was fine as we had a hire car, but there were bars and places to eat locally as well.The complex was very quiet, pools well maintained. Complex overall could do with a lick of paint, and a lot of the units were empty, but no impact to our holiday.Overall we had a good holiday and found it very good value for money...

Extremely well equipped apartment ,in a lovely position getting the sun on patio All Day ,and looking over the pool. Beautifully furnished and very spacious.we had a lovely stay .

absolutely perfect for long stay, never stayed in an apt with so much pots pans ,cutlery, and the dishwasher was a nice touch.

For plus:- big apartment, good equipped kitchen, really nice spacious terrace, two swimming pools, new air conditioning in one roomFor minus:- many cockroaches all around on the apartment, even we found some in the swimming pool - old bathroom, not so clean, old air conditions not properly working in living room ( it worked but didn’t blow with cold wind), the owner didn’t replay in Vrbo, only when I found the direct telephone number he replied, very slow internet ( it wasn’t possible to use it), no grill outside ( it was on the photos)

Review

Location perfect as only 15 mins walk in either direction to bars, restaurants and shop. Apartment was well equipped for a long stay like ours. A few little issues but sorted quickly. Internet is slow with tv needing a fire stick and still issues watching tv on occasions. All in all a good stay and would recommend and return

Not a holiday complex more like a council estate to many young families living there with lots of kids running around at night. Lots of African workers live there mostly quite but some very loud. Big pigeon problem the Gym is where the kids play the equipment is no existent or broken

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung in guter Lage

Positiv: - sehr sauber - gute Ausstattung der Wohnung, was Geschirr angeht - liebevolle Terrassengestaltung - jedes Zimmer hatte super gute Fliegengitter - stimmiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Negativ: - in der Wohnung war eine Kamera zur Überwachung des Sitzbereiches aufgestellt? Irgendwie sehr befremdlich. - der zugehörige Stellplatz war ständig von anderen Autos belegt, das hat genervt - der Vermieter hat während des Aufenthaltes nicht auf Nachrichten/Anfragen reagiert, was ich sehr unhöflich finde - die Poolanlage ist nicht so gepflegt wie auf den Bildern. Beim Pool wackelt die Leiter, es löst sich die Folie und die Scheiben drum herum verwittern - es ist sehr hellhörig (man hört die oberen Nachbarn und die nebenan deutlich reden) - es gibt sehr viele Tauben und auch Katzen, die im Garten bzw. auf der Terrasse ihr Geschäft erledigen

Cyprus 2023

Whilst the apartment was clean if not a little tired we were disappointed that you advertise as an exclusive 5 star apartment we found this not to be the case. We found only allocating 1 hand towel between 4 adults to be less than adequate, also all the towels are old and of poor quality. The AC in the main bedroom didn’t work, we contacted Sian who replied that the previous guests didn’t report this, so assumed we weren’t using it properly.We then contacted her again but 24 hours later she still hadn’t responded to us, very unprofessional, we then had to contact the host who dealt with this and it transpired the AC had run out of gas, We felt if Sian had addressed our issue earlier we would have had a more comfortable stay without the 3 sleepless nights we endured. PIGEONS!! Where to begin. This is a serious health issue that needs to be addressed, they are roosting every night above the apartment, at one time we counted 46, can we suggest you install the spikes to deter them, as we noticed that the other blocks have done this and don’t have this problem. The amount of bird excrement we had to endure was quite frankly disgusting, we felt we had to stop cleaning it due to the risk to our health. We did contact Sian about this matter, she informed us that it had been cleaned for our arrival but for the safety and health of future guests this should be cleaned on a daily basis. Despite this we did have a lovely holiday and still love Cyprus.

Heureusement qu’il y a une piscine pour éviter de penser au cafard en arrivant au séjour. La vaisselle n’a jamais été nettoyer comme il faut avant notre arrivée.

Ruhige Lage

Alles wie beschrieben und noch mehr, DVD, Video,s in Englisch, Spiele, Bücher usw. Gute 30 min. vom Flughafen. Sehr gute Lage um schnell nach Richtung Polis zu kommen. Waren alle von allem seht erfreut, besonders über den schnellen und guten Kontakt zum Vermieter, Ihm an dieser Stelle nochmal herzlichen Dank!

Great apartment close to amenities

Clean apartment with everything you need. Air conditioning works on a 2 hr timer but the apartment stays cool even if this is not on continuously. The pool needs a little attention with regards to cleaning, but this is probably down to the property management company. Overall I would stay here again, There are some lovely traditional restaurants nearby and beautiful beaches within 10 mins drive.

Great apartment

Great apartment clean and spacious with everything and more that you need a home from home. The pool was very quiet and lovely and warm. The patio was large and you could see the pool from it overall we had a fab stay and would definately stay here again. Communication with The host Tina was great too.

Great stay

Lovely ground floor sunny (all day) well equippted clean apartment. Perfect stay for 2 adults & 2 children (Family) All you need, great washing machine, dishwasher, 2 draw freezer with large fridge, etc plenty of crockery, utensils. Aircon on a timmer, but not a problem for us in October. Only used for an hour or so at night in the bedroom, othertimes we had the front door and patio doors open for a lovely through breeze. WiFi was good, no problems. TV lacking english chanels, one news and one film (not always suitable for young children) Take your own dvd's, a small selection there, mainly for adults & older kids. (James bond, bridget jones, mamma mia) Plenty of pool aids, and a table tennis set. Table tennis on site, but you need the net, bats & balls . We found the complex a bit tired in some areas, but it was cleaned regularly , pool, gardens, communal stairs etc. There are a few families that live on this complex, it's thier home, we go for a short holiday, not a problem at all.The children above were quiet and well behaved. Plenty of shops, in peyia village, great bakery, fish chip shop, resturants, supermarket etc. We drove, but easily within walking distance, but would advise a car. Paphos harbour is a lovely area, an you can walk all the way around and along the sea front with many little coves, some more suitable for swimming than others. Great island to visit, plenty to do and see, and a great little apartment, We would stay again. :)

Wunderschönes Apartment - aber viele laute Kinder

Das Apartment ist wunderbar und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Vor allem die Küche ist perfekt (neue Mikrowelle, großer Herd/Backofen, sehr viel Geschirr, Gläser, Töpfe, Geschirrspülmaschine, grosser Kühlschrank und zwei grosse Gefrierfachschubladen. Ausserdem hat man zwei Terassen. Eine davon mit gemütlichen Sitzmöbeln und zwei Liegen. Was aber wirklich nervig war sind die vielen Kinder von Dauerbewohnern in der Anlage. In der Wohnung ober uns hat eine ältere Dame teilweise 4 Kinder gleichzeitig betreut (vielleicht ist sie eine Art Tagesmutter, da manche Mütter ihre Kinder morgens zu ihr gebracht haben) und auch sehr laut telefoniert. Die Kinder haben auch im Bereich der schönen Poolanlage laut schreiend gespielt. Von ca. 22 Uhr bis 09 Uhr war jedoch Ruhe.

Really nice stay in Peyia

Stayed in first half of May so there was very little crowd. Apartment is well equipped and roomy. First floor with easy access to the pools from terraces. You can manage without (like we) but car is recommended.

Adriana 2020 stay

The unit was well located and a short drive to Coral and Corallia Beach which our 5 year old enjoyed. The unit is on the ground floor but the residents above have young kids who appeared to be running from one side of the unit to the other and are heard past midnight. The unit is not fitted with fans so one has little choice but to use the AC to cool the room down so one can sleep comfortably. This unit is the first unit I have come across that has their AC’s on timers so it switches off after 90 minutes and going through the 11 page instruction manual, it states that the AC should be switched on at 24 degrees only otherwise you use more electricity and you will be charged for “above average” use separately. There is also no water pressure so unable to have a decent shower. Whilst it is a lovely unit because of these 3 issues I will not be making any future bookings.

Great apartment in a beautiful area

We had a great time in Tim & Beverly’s apartment on our first trip to Cyprus. Directions to the site were easy to follow, and the apartment itself is very comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday in a lovely quiet location. (There’s a recurring theme here - we found the same to be the case in their cottage in the Lake District). Peyia is a charming village, with some good tavernas and facilities within walking distance of the apartment. There is also so much to see in the wider area, from historic sites to beautiful wild countryside and amazing bays and beaches, both organised & safe for families, or (our preference), wilder, quieter and more remote. We hired a car and were able to find so much to do, but also enjoyed being able to come back for a late afternoon swim in the pool next to the apartment, which we never once had to share whenever we decided to use it. We would highly recommend both the apartment & western Cyprus, and hope to return before too long.
