  • We offer 720sq ft. of space for the whole family. 1 bedrooms with extra cots, walk in closets, stand up shower, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave, full stove/oven, coffee pot, cooking pots, dishware, a/c / heat in each room. Eat in kitchen with Amish made dinette set. Couch that folds out to make a bed. Outside smoke-less fire pit with grill option. No pets Unless approved

Very cozy, warm an had everything we could possibly need, love the memory book left for guests to share, we were in Bunk House, would love to see each of the others recommend staying

The Bunk House was perfect for us. It was even lovelier than the pictures. The hosts were great communicators. It’s set in a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the bullfrogs in the pond. Highly recommend staying here.

Return Visit

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. We hope to stay again in May. We visit the area twice per year, and this is now our go to place.

Relaxing and Secluded

The property is well maintained and clean. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax this property is an excellent choice! The "Bunk House" is tops! The option for one night stays is VERY convenient as well.

Little taste of paradise

The Bunk House offered everything (and more) that we had expected. A quiet, secluded, beautiful area that made it hard to leave to come home to the city. The cabin was spotless and has everything you could need. Truly one of the best getaways we have had.

We had a beautiful time. The scenery is amazing so is area it’s in. I had the best birthday of my life. Thank you!! The cabins are absolutely gorgeous, so relaxing and quiet, and very comfortable.

Peaceful

We really enjoyed staying in this cabin and in this area. It was convenient for the activities we had planned, and it was so peaceful to start and end the day rocking on the front porch. We usually visit this area twice a year and plan on staying here from now on. Highly recommend it!!!

State Parks Exploration

This cabin is definitely a 10! Very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. The bed is so comfy! It was really hot and humid during our stay but the cabin was cool. We explored 4 state parks and Serpent Mound. The bed was very welcoming after a day of hiking in the heat. Mel’s Main Street Grill was quaint. Recommend this cabin. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Another Great Stay!

The Bunk House was just as good this time around and was the perfect place for us to enjoy a quiet and restful anniversary getaway. We sat on the porch the first evening and were serenaded by a pair of screech owls. What better way to end the day? Great cabin, amenities, cleanliness and convenience to all the local attractions we wanted to visit. Thanks again Karen & Lewis for another wonderful vacation experience!

Great Escape

Way out of the way and exactly what we were looking for to have space / distance to breath. Spent 5 days and will stay again next time we are in the area. Yes, you will be in a working farming area and hear cattle and equipment - as well as the distant highway - but absolutely amazing property!

Beautiful, quiet, well cared for property. If you are looking for a location away from the bustle for a reasonable price, this is a great location. Near great hiking, Amish businesses and historic sites. Has all the basics in the kitchen and coffee. Bring all your own toiletries and hair dryer. If you message the owners, you get a quick response. Very helpful.
