"What a little Gem this place is. Immaculately clean. Beautiful room, with everything you need. Easy check in. Communication was great. Was even given a txt an hour before our check in time to say room was ready. We will definitely be back!"

"The room was a reasonable size but not big. However the facilties were excellent. There was a smeg fridge and kettle. The walk in shower was excellent. Easy to get the right temperature and pressure. The whole bathroom suite looked like it was relatively new. No mold no water damage anywhere even the grouting was clean. "We have stayed at the old stone trough a few times now and what makes it such a pleasurable stay is the staff, you recieve such a welcomming friendly approach at all times. Staff are helpful and accomodating so polite and friendly. The rooms are always clean and layed out nicely Overall just a great place to stay."

"Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated."
