We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. This property is a great place to stay to visit Platypus House, Beaconsfield Mine Museum and Sea Horse world.
Stayed in the Executive Suite and it was stepping back into the era when built. The room was huge and included a lounge area, dining area and very modern and clean bathroom.
The owners have revamped the decor to the era and ensure that you enjoy your stay. The host very, very welcoming, provided a lot of information regarding the places to visit in the area and explain restaurant...
"Wonderful experience at Tranquilles. Friendly service from Bev from the moment I checked in and during my 2-day stay there. Comfortable bedding and clean room and facilities. Bev is an amazing hostess - she catered for the birthday function I attended at Tranquilles, serving delicious Thai food as well as the amazing birthday cake.
