This stay was ideal for us and the owner was readily available for questions. The property has top notch appliances and was comfortable and quiet. We saw deer one morning, cooked on the grill and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was easy to access and was clean. The lock on the front door was new and had some problems, but the owners responded right away and were able to open the door remotely.One suggestion is dark curtains. The house was bright in the morning and woke the kids up.

Great place for a getaway!

This is a very nice house on a quiet, beautiful property! It has all modern amenities in a rural setting. But, still close to town if you need something. House and property are very well kept. They supply the essentials and everything works as it should. Host supplied necessary information ahead of time and we had zero issues. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone! We will probably try to stay here again, in the future. Thank you for providing us a great weekend escape from the phoenix heat!

4th of July

We had a great holiday weekend on the pines. The house is obviously new. Plenty of room. The mattress was very comfy. Loved the kitchen island. The house is close to the 260 so you do hear the road noise if your outside but it wasn't a big deal. Only critique would be if you're planning to cook at the rental instead of going out to eat you need to bring everything with you. No blender, hand mixer, crockpot etc. A shade umbrella for the outdoor table would've been nice as the patio is on the south side. Minor inconvenience. We would certainly stay here again

Beautiful & peaceful!

The house is beautiful and super clean! As someone who is sensitive to many smells, I appreciate that it seemed no fragrances were used in the home. The property feels secluded and my kids loved seeing a few deer in the yard! The trundle bed was really useful and everything was well stocked! We’d definitely stay here again!

The perfect VRBO!

This is probably one of the nicest rental units we have stayed in and we have been doing this for five years.. The unit is very new with great modern decor, VERY clean, excellent bed. Nice views in a secluded neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac.The host is very pleasant and helpful.The driveway is perfect for playing Smashball, which we like.I can't think of anything negative to say except for the stools in the kitchen which are hard and uncomfortable. I mentioned this to the host and suspect he will have changed them by the time you read this.This property earns our highest possible recommendation.

At it"s best - will not disappoint

Place was modern yet serene. Elks resting in backyard while staring at us. Location was excellent. This place is a must stay in Payson !!! You will not be disappointed.

Beutiful area, beautiful home.

We arrived during a snow storm and the backyard and house looked like a Hallmark movie. The house is super clean and well taken care of. It was close to Walmart and restaurants. Perfect place. We will be stay there in the future.

Beautiful, nice, quiet, and private place

This is a great little place to stay and was our 2nd stay here. The place is clean, modern, and very nice. Good for 2 adults in the master bedroom, and 2 kids or another adult in the 2nd bedroom, with a shared bathroom. The property is beautiful, secluded, and quiet. The surroundings are also very beautiful.Here are the reasons for only 4 overall stars:1) Internet connection is not very stable. Issues with connectivity persisted with TV, phones, and laptops. If you work remotely and need a good Internet connection you might consider another place until they resolve this.2) WARNING: VRBO will actually charge the 1500 deposit at the time of booking (not a credit card "hold") and will not refund the charge until over 2 weeks after you check out. You will need to pay off this charge on your credit card to avoid interest charges before you even check in. For this reason I will not use VRBO to book this property going forward.

Perfect!

The first thing I will say is that this property is CLEAN. Like spotless. And I'm pretty picky. It's also wonderfully appointed with everything you could possibly need or want --- even dishes and silverware for little kids!!! Both my husband (who likes hard beds) and I (who prefers a soft bed) slept well in the king bed. All the lights dim!!!! Gorgeous views, great night sky. Fire pit! Quiet neighborhood (except for the hum of the highway, which is kind of unavoidable in the area). High ceilings. Games. It'd pretty hard to find anything to complain about, I'd definitely stay there again! My ONLY recommendation would be to note the unit letter on the travel instructions. Don't get scared off by this; it's a single-family home with plenty of privacy... but two separate houses share the same street number, which threw me off.

Home away from home

We felt so relaxed being here. Everything that we needed to feel at home, we had it here. Open the sliding door and let the fresh air in. Our family enjoyed hiking in the back yard to get some wood for our little fire. Completely relaxing.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed the home! It was the perfect size for the two of us. It was in a very private area with a great view - even saw some elk walk by in the backyard. We will definitely stay again in the future!

Serene and Peaceful

Our stay at the Bee Hive was very enjoyable. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood nestled amongst pines and beautifully landscaped surroundings. Lots of natural light cascades through the updated kitchen/dining area and quaint living room. King size bed was comfortable, and the spacious bathroom a plus! Nice having a washer and dryer available to do laundry. The inside has everything you need; very clean and comfortable vacation home. A serene and peaceful place to stay. The property owner was quick to respond to our initial emails, and available right away to answer all our questions! 10/10
