Cool Cabin
We had a great time with family. The layout of the house made it seem larger than it was. Had a cool basement/game room. It actually had 3 full bathrooms. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Stay
Great location. Secluded and quiet. Clean and everything needed was made available. Just two things to note. Little to no cell phone signal, but there is a landline phone for emergencies and necessary phone calls. We didn't need the phone at all during our stay. The other is that there are a lot of stairs. We didn't have issues, but if had older guests stay, then it might be little more difficult for them. Overall, great place. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely come back again.

Memory Making Family Gathering
As grandparents we wanted to create some memories for our children/spouses and grandchildren this Christmas season. Your home provided the right atmosphere and outdoor scenery to make that happen. There was plenty of spaces to have individual one-on-one conversations, group gatherings in front of the fireplace, at the large kitchen table, or on either of the two outdoor decks. The kids had so much fun walking around the property exploring and even got to see a family of javelinas who visited twice during our stay! We had ping pong games going all the time trying to determine the ultimate champion. All in all, a great time was had by all and we could not be more pleased to have chosen this property to spend some quality time with our loved ones. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great place to get away!
We loved staying here. There were some plumbing issues on the 1st and 3rd floor so we mainly only used the 2nd floor shower. Not ADA compliant and many small stairways so be careful if you are bringing elderly with walking issues.

The perfect house for a big family and making memories!
We had such a wonderful time at Conrad’s home! There was plenty of space for everyone, it was clean and cozy. The view from the decks are just breath taking. The Sunrise lighting up the Mogollon Rim was stunning. We had everything we needed to cook meals, play games and stay up bonding and laughing. This was our first time staying here and I feel like we scored big time with this home. Conrad was prompt in his communications and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Thank you!!!

Perfect Space for families
Great, quirky cabin, perfect location, amazing views. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Basement is a great place for kids to hang out while the adults are upstairs. Highly recommend!

Amazing location, stunning views!
We had a small hiccup upon arrival which was promptly and adequately resolved with the owner. We have stayed in the area previously but this place is by far our new favorite! We will definitely be back for sure! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Family winter trip
My family loved this getaway to this cabin to see snow! The property had what we needed, pots pans, coffee maker, extra blankets, towels, grill, firewood, even sleds for the kids. The owner was awesome, communicating was easy when there was service. We will be back next year!

Family Holiday Getaway
As grandparents our gift to our kids and grandkids was a trip to AZ snow country. The house was plenty big enough and we played lot of game inside and played in the snow outside. We had a wonderful time. The only suggestion to the owners is to have the cleaning service dust the hanging light fixtures. Thank you.

I loved this cabin
beautiful cabin. you get a nice view of the forest. It has a lot to do in the cabin and there are board games, a ping pong table, piano, and much more for kids and adults. The Christmas tree was a nice touch we really enjoyed thanksgiving here

Family Retreat
Beautiful views of the Mogollon Rim from inside and decks. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of space to gather or be alone. Owner was very good at communicating the directions to the house and instructions once we arrived. The game room was a bonus!

A lovely Respite from this Crazy World
We were a group of 8 people wanting to escape the heat in the Phoenix area to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. We loved this getaway! We were greeted by a momma elk and her baby as we all pulled into the driveway who stayed around while we unloaded from our cars. The views from this property are fantastic. It has a great big kitchen which was wonderful lots of sitting areas both inside and out, and the place sleeps something like 14 people so we had plenty of room to spread out over the course of the weekend to watch sunrises, sunsets, enjoy the fire pit, watch some TV, play some ping pong downstairs, etc. We'd all definitely recommend this mountain retreat!

Relaxing Family Time
We try to go away once a year with the immediate family- two adults and four sons 22-29. Hoping to continue once the family grows. We love houses that have something like a pool table, ping pong, or air hockey for indoor activities. Kitchen space to gather and cook, a grill , plenty of seating indoors and out with room to be together and apart. Decks are our favorites and views of the mountains. This home did not disappoint. It suited our needs. It was close to some good hikes and a short drive to town to eat wings at Mackys Grill 201 W Main St Ste J, Payson, AZ 85541 a locally owned restaurant that we frequent when we visit Payson. Conrad was easy to communicate with and the check in/check out process was a breeze. We would return.

Perfect mountain getaway!
This property was situated high up in the forest with view for miles. We were visited several times each day by the local Elk, passing right below our balcony. Take only your clothes, gear and food because this host provides EVERYTHING else! We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to our next visit. This cabin is so big, the 6 of us hardly ever saw each other :-)

Nice location, house needs work
The location is beautiful with great views. Enjoyed the dark sky at night and seeing elk walk through the property. The house itself had more stairs than we realized and needs some work. Hand rails were loose, one came off when our granddaughter was doing down a set of stairs. The water in the tubs did not work properly. The house was clean and well stocked. Information on the house were clear and helpful.

Great Thanksgiving Holiday!
We had the best time at this beautiful cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The space was more than enough for our group of 16. The cabin or surrounding area is not suitable for younger children with lots of energy but is only a short distance drive from a nice creek that was great for exploring. Overall, it was a great stay. It was easy to get in and out and the host was very thorough in their communication. I look forward to staying again sometime when the kids are a little older.

Spectacular views
We had a very enjoyable stay at the property. The hill side views are priceless and the game room got a good workout by the younger kids. Time of year was perfect with color in the trees and pleasant temps. The owner was great to work with.

Serenity and Peace
This property was EXACTLY what we were looking for. It sits at the top of the mountain and the views are amazing. It provided us with serenity and peace away from this crazy world. WiFi was excellent and we were able to access everything we needed. The house was clean when we arrived and the instructions from Conrad were perfect. Not one detail missed. We were visited by elk, squirrels and many birds and would recommend this location to anyone wanting to escape the world. There were plenty of paper towels, kleenex, toilet paper, spices, and any dish, pot, pan you would ever need. Conrad was a wonderful host, very responsive and like I said, didn't miss a detail. We will definitely visit again, but this time we "might" bring our kids and grandkids (although we really enjoyed the quiet without them....hahaha). Thanks Conrad!
