We've gone several times now, call it our home away from home, kid and pet friendly, easy drive to Knoebels, absolutely wonderful farm market and restaurants minutes drive or walk. Peaceful setting,roomy, comfortable.Perfect for families

Our family had a great time here. The kids had so much fun running through the yard, sitting by the fire pit, and watching the stars. It was great to disconnect from TV/Internet for a weekend. We look forward to staying here again as a family. It really transports you to a simpler time. Highly recommend!

We loved the location and the older home although it could have been cleaner. My daughter keep having asthma attacks due to dust and dirt. I would stay again if it would be a little cleaner. I enjoyed the ventage but some of the furniture could be updated because it has too much trapped dirt causing everyone to sneeze. The owners were VERY nice and made accommodations for our needs.

We absolutely LOVE this farmhouse! Its so spacious and its a welcome trip back in time! Its decorated with items from the past and theres so much nostalgia. The handwritten notes from what i believe was the homeowner and a teacher are simply endearing, from the recipies and more! My kids talk about this house to no end and it was our 2nd year in a row. This year we also celebrated my fathers 79 bd. Communication with the owner is top notch! We will definitely stay at this house for years to come anytime we want to stay near the park Knobles.

Our visit was short but very enjoyable. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit. Our host was quickly responsive to all questions and had the house ready for our arrival including wood ready for the fire pit! Would like to return soon.

My favorite place now!

If you love the charm of country living, complete with original fixtures and furniture, this is your place. I’m obsessed with it. While we were there at the hottest time of the summer, it still was a treat. My husband was a little too tall for the beds, but whatever lol! I’ll be back even if it’s just me. The host was so caring and helpful.

Summer get away

Mary Jane was lovely to communicate with leading up to our stay right through checkout. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed with our five kids plus an extra friend and there was more than enough sleeping space for everyone. We found some fun spots to check out on a rainy day, a favorite being Incredible Popcorn in Bloomsburg. Having such a short car ride to Knoebels was definitely an added benefit, coming home with tired kids after a full day! And our favorite was sitting outside having our coffee enjoying the quiet of the beautiful property and watching the wildlife.

Great house, Great hosts

The hosts were amazing. The toaster stopped working and they had a new one to us within hours. There is no wifi, which wasn't great for our purposes as we were househunting. However, the quaint setting made it worth it. Recommend.

Family Time

Three generations of family celebrated Christmas. Loads of game time and a great space to chat. The country charm reminded me of my grandparent's farm house. Mary Jane responded so quickly to texts. We loved it.

Hunting Trip in 4E

The host was wonderful with information and her spirt was so refreshing. The house was going back in time on how Americans lived in the 1930+ century. Old school house and clean old school furniture. My three sons and myself loved it and were humbled. Fancy snoots would not like it because its not fancy. We had plenty of rooms and space to move around. Host should provide an information sheet on how to use things in the house. Gas heat, TV - VCR did not work, what to do when checking out. Lock doors? Key place meant. Fire pit was hard to start. Internet would be nice. Deer running through the yard and very quiet. We had a great experience, we will come back. Thanks
