Paradise Away from Home!

Wow! What an incredible rental! The house was spacious enough for our family of 8 adults & 2 kids. It was an easy short walking trip to the beach from the house. The pool was refreshing. Very quiet & beautiful views. Shops & restaurants nearby. House had everything you would need to stay for a week. Loved the extra fridge downstairs. We had a wonderful week & hated to leave. Thanks for sharing your lovely place with us.

Liked it - Nice, but bedrooms smaller than pictured on website. Limited closet space. OK for a few days, but not for a week.

Great Location

The property was perfectly described. It had an old school South Carolina feel which we really liked. The back yard was perfection. The pool was great and there were so many chairs and loungers. We loved the front porch, back deck, and the pool deck. Plenty of outdoor space for everyone. We never even sat in the living room! The beach is so close. We were a bit confused and had anticipated a busy street between us and the beach. What we found was a quiet residential area so that was nice! We have stayed in houses ON the beach and been further away from sand than we were here. We tend to cook all our meals. There is a Food Lion grocery store just a few minutes away. The beach shop up the road was stocked with souvenir items and was reasonably priced. The taco truck in the adjoining parking lot was a lunch time hit with our teens. A few in our party ventured to Charleston for a day trip, a few others enjoyed golf at Founders. We rented four bikes for the week and had a blast exploring nearby. If you like to eat out, there are a ton of unique dining options on 17. The rental company was fantastic. Easy check in and check out. We reported a door knob issue so they could fix it for the next renters but they sent someone out right away. A severe storm hit our second night. The management team stopped in to assess damage and make sure we were ok. Overall this place was perfect for a multigenerational vacation!

Relax Time !!

Everything was great except the grill was unusable, very dirty, and not functional. Definitely need to invest in a new grill.

Great place for a reunion or family vacation!

This beach house was the perfect place to have our 50th reunion with my sorority sisters from college. It is decorated beautifully and the pool was amazing. We usually go to a different city every year but are already talking about Happy Seagull French Fry for next year. Loved it!

Great except for the tv reception

We all wanted to watch football and the Braves game. TV went out and we went to the office, to get it addressed quickly. They were very responsive and sent out 2 guys who seemed to fix it - though they said they weren’t quite sure what went wrong. That night it went out again and we could. do nothing about it. Had to watch Braves on phones - was awful!! I would need to be very very assured the tv was working properly before renting the place again!!!

Perfect location, family friendly

A very fun getaway location! Getting to the beach is super easy, right across the street. Spacious living interior, bedrooms a little small, beautiful pool, lots of fun outdoor games like ping pong, cornhole, lasso golf. Not the cleanest, bare feet were dark with dirt after walking around the house. Communication with property manager was fair…she didn’t respond to one of our questions upon arrival, and when asking about item inventory like beach chairs, her response was that she manages too many properties so she couldn’t keep track of the home’s inventory. However, there WERE plenty of beach toys, rafts, chairs, etc. upon arrival. there was no bathtub which was surprising for such a family friendly home and a little difficult with young kids. Bedroom downstairs you had to walk outside to get to and opens up to pool so we weren’t comfortable putting young (walking) children down there. Overall, we were pleased with the experience and would recommend the property.

This wonderful place has everything!

This wonderful home has it all!!! From a gorgeous pool, to ping pong, cornhole boards, the patio bar, rocking chairs, and a hammock, you have your own private resort. The beach access is directly across the road, and the sunrise is beautiful from the widow’s walk at the top of the house. The only time you will need to leave is to visit the Cabana Cafe, also across the street at the Litchfield Inn. It has some of the best and freshest seafood that you will ever have! (Definitely get the grouper nuggets) The accommodations of the home are very comfortable and clean, with room to spread out. We are so excited for future visits!!! Thanks so much!!!

Xmas vacation

About a 1 minute walk to an exquisite beach - wide, clean and long! Main living area was very clean and well arranged for our family. Some repairs on the ground floor were either still underway or had not been fully cleaned up. Windy conditions had blown some of the lawn furniture into the pool prior to our arrival.

Great place for families

The house looks newly updated and that the pool was really great especially on days when it rain on and off. Beach access is very good . We cooked a lot because of Covid issues and the kitchen and grill outdoors was great.

It was a great stay. The only complaint was the pool lounge chairs are all broken. Could be replaced

It was terrific weather and a great location. Close to a lot of things to do. The beach was awesome.
