Lovely holiday stay
Lovely place. Owners on same site. Well equipped kitchen, heating worked well (late September visit so we didn't use the pool). Good sized bathroom and lots of hot water. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Long Awaited trip
We were due to travel in June for the Tour de France in Brittany stages, but were thwarted by Covid! Jenny was brilliant at re-arranging our stay to September and ensuring everything went smoothly. Although we missed the tour, we managed to cycle the lovely routes around the well located gite and Jenny and Kevin were great hosts. We even managed to get in the pool as the weather was mostly kind to us. We had a great time in the gite and would recommend it to others.

Good location for visiting central Brittany.
Very clean and well equipped gite, interesting building and history. Great location for exploring central Brittany but within access of South, West and North coasts.

An ideal rural location and the cottage was probably the best appointed that we have stayed in.
We were there during the heatwave and the pool was much in use. Whilst not near to any major attraction all coasts were easily accessible, exactly what we were looking for.The welcome pack was much appreciated as we arrived late on a Saturday (Bastille Day) with limited opportunity to shop. Highly recommended.

Overall we enjoyed our week stay in the property.
If we were to,give feedback it sounds quite minor but we feel relevant. The property states that it is pet friendly. To make a property pet friendly would to,be able to leave the pet unattended in the garden. The property needs more fencing put up around the garden and also under the gates leading to the road. We were inundated with flies during the stay. We since found out that the neighbours dump their rubbish near the property which encourages the flies. The kitchen lights over the sink did not work. The steps up to the pool need to be looked at. Not only overgrown with weeds etc but a bit wobbly. The lock to the entrance door needs to be made more "old person" friendly. Anyone who did not have the necessary strength to push the handle up would have trouble securing the property. As stated earlier, the comments may sound minor but we felt they were worth mentioning to assist you in making the property a five star stay. The welcome pack was appreciated. Mind you it took us 2 days to realise the pungent aroma was the Camembert cheese in the fridge. We would recommend the property to our friends and would definitely book again , thankyou

Thank you for your feedback and even if you feel them to be minor I would rather know and deal with them and keep our guests comfortable rather than leave them to become major issues. I will try and answer all your points. 1. Regarding the kitchen lights, if you had contact our local agent, Cliff, details are in the information pack, who lives in the next village. He would happily have popped down to check them out and fix them - he has now replaced the whole unit. 2. The pool steps - again if you had contacted Cliff he would have made sure they were clear and we will ask him to check them on a regular basis to stop them becoming overgrown. We are going out ourselves shortly and will check the pool steps and tighten them where needed. 3. Fencing - On our next visit we are going to put additional fencing around the garden and the gate to make it more secure. 4. The front door is a known problem and although we try and ease it, it remains stiff but again we will check it and see of there is anything more we can do. 5. The flies - I was not aware that neighbours were dumping rubbish and if you will email me the details privately, we can see if there is any action we can take. However the hot weather does bring out more flies. Hope this answers your concerns but please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Kind regards

Peace, beauty and comfort
We spent a wonderful week here with 2 small children. The property and grounds are beautiful. We were made to feel very welcome with essentials already in the fridge and even a bottle of wine! The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept in. The hosts have really thought about all the little details to make a great stay. Stairgates, dishwasher, plenty of garden games, wifi and sky all made our family stay very relaxing. The pool was a wonderful addition and watching the combine harvester work in the field opposite was a treat for the children. We hope to return!

J'ai été quelque peu surpris par votre avis négatif. Pouvez-vous nous expliquer ce qui n'est pas propre dans la maison et la piscine ? Le dossier d'information est en anglais d'un côté et en français de l'autre. Malheureusement, le chauffage de la piscine était en panne, mais cela ne nous a été signalé que la semaine dernière et nous l'avons remplacé. Je ne peux pas commenter votre opinion sur le jardin mais je ne suis pas d'accord pour dire que ce soit un dépotoir.

GITE AU CALME
Nous avons apprécié le lave-vaisselle qui nous fait gagner du temps. Les propriétaires sont accueillants. Petits désagréments il n'y a qu'une seule chambre alors que j'avais indiqué 2 chambres sur ma demande. Le site internet n'est pas souple. Problème pour communiquer directement avec les propriétaires quand on a un souci sur le trajet. On n'a pas le temps de se connecter à sa boîte mail puis recevoir le code puis écrire un message. Génial !
Je ne comprends pas les derniers avis mitigés. Séjour exceptionnel en famille, la piscine était très propre et nous avons pu en profiter pleinement avec cette chaleur. Le gîte dispose de tout ce qu’il faut pour s’y sentir bien. La propriété est au calme. Jennifer la propriétaire est soucieuse que l’arrivée se passe bien et très réactive. La personne du Bed an le Breakfast qui remet les clés quand elle n’est pas là est très sympathique ! Bref rien à redire. Je recommande vivement et j’espère y retourner un jour.

Court séjour, mais agréable. Hôtes très accueillants et souriants malgré notre arrivée dans la nuit. Logement agréable et situé dans une ville très calme. Pas idéal pour 2 couples ( un lit double et les lits une place ne sont pas confortables pour des personnes de grandes tailles)

Escapade en Bretagne intérieure.
Propriété agréable avec quelques imperfections. Ne convient pas pour 2 couples, la chambre au premier étage est bruyante. Par ailleurs, la réception télévision est mauvaise. L'équipement est très correct et complet et les "cadeaux" sont trés appréciés après un voyage assez long pour nous. Merci.

Très belles vacances!
Des vacances bien reposées, la maison très bien équipée, un très apprécié cadeau de bienvenue :) (vin, lait, oeufs, beurre, courgette, du gel hydroalcoolique en plus!). On a eu besoin de rien puisqu'on a trouvé tout notre plaisir. La piscina super pour les enfanst, spécialement pour ma fille qui a bien apris à nager! Maison de rêve, parfait emplacement. Paule est une petite ville mais calme et belle. Le tout pour passer des jours en famille et au calme, surtout après un confinemenent covid! 100% recommendée.

TRES CALME ET REPOSANT
Petit bijou ou vous avez à disposition tout ce dont vous pouvez avoir besoin lors d'un séjour. Mais ce petit bijou mériterais un nouvel écrin qui nécessiterait d’être restauré. EX : - Le matériel permettant l'entretien du cottage pourrait être rangé dans un local approprié. Et non visible - La fenêtre de la cuisine donne sur un dépotoir. - Fenêtre ouverte, les odeurs par forte chaleur ne sont pas forcement agréables. - Les allées sont à ratisser et un rajout de gravier serait nécessaire. - Le portail à l'entrée est à remplacer pour l'accueil cela donnerait une meilleure note. - Le store du vélux n'est pas occultant.... problème le matin - La porte d'entrée du cottage est à remplacer sans conteste. - Des photos me permettrait de mieux étayer mes arguments qui n'ont pour seuls but d’améliorer l'image de ce petit paradis.

We are gonna make that short and sweet... if you are unhappy in this cottage, we dont know whats wrong with you. It has everything you could ask for and if you are lucky, Kevin and Jennifer (your Landlords) are there too and you can have a few nice conversations. Our Dog also loved it.
