"The rental process was easy. Access was easy. The house was clean and copious amenities were available. The location was central to many of our experiences. "The home feels excluded from everything but the host made it feel like you were welcome to the community. If you wish to hear the waves crash on the rocks and enjoy a perfect sunrise (weather permitting) then Saul's place is the spot to be at on your getaway from the norm. "Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa...

"Keaau is south of Hilo and very convenient to Volcano National Park. Home has lots of amenities to provide a comfortable stay. There is a large TV but operating instructions were very complex and we did not attempt to view. Overall I would recommend this rental."
