What an outstanding experience in every way. If anything the listing undersells the special aspects of this house and location. The beach isn’t private, but it might as well be. Great views from all parts of the house, very high end finish out and charmingly decorated. We especially appreciated not having to bring bed linens as so many other locations required. Bring food, beach towels and toiletries and every other need is covered on site, including two kayaks and two really nice full bathrooms with heated towel racks. Great for all seasons with charming outside spaces and cozy indoor rooms and a wood burning stove for colder nights. We’ll be back again on a future visit.

Wonderful location to relex

We felt very comfortable right from the start. The house is beautifully designed and furnished - it has charm. There is almost nothing better than waking up in the morning, seeing the sun shine and hearing the sound of the sea. You can do this while lying in bed or sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee. The rustic stand is just 5 metres away.

Stunning location. Great house

This is a fantastic beach house. Right on the beach with great outdoor spaces. The house is stylisy, comfortable , cosy and beautifully designed. We all loved staying here and plan to come back. The best house we have stayed in in Golden Bay

lovely peaceful spot

great location, right on the beach, nicely maintained lovely property, great for our small family with bedrooms at either end of the house. Only issue was we couldn't figure out how to use the hose to water the garden!

Tour guides for American friends

After a five year absence from NZ it was a delight to return with American friends to Golden Bay. This home was a perfect spot to relax and take the time to smell not only the roses in the garden but stroll the beach and look for little treasures that just had to come home with us. I recommend this beautiful home to one and all and can't wait to bring my family here.

Paradise!

We had the best time at this gorgeous place. It's definitely a level up from your normal bach - lots of lovely little touches and luxuries that make this house feel like a real treat. Our little boy was so happy to be so close to the beach and it was so serene looking out at the water from the windows. A real sense of pride has been taken in the crafting of this house, and the location is an absolute winner too.
