Another great Stay at Casa Wurster

We had another great week staying on the Casa Wurster property. We just wish we had stayed longer! Our family rented Sea Breeze and Sea View. Hector was fantastic as always. The property is clean and well kept, gated, and now has A/Cs in all rooms. The additional A/Cs were an upgrade from our previous visit. The whole island lost power during our stay, but it was business as usual at the homes. They had power outage kits ready to go, but with the generator we didn’t need them except for a brief moment.

Great place for a family vacation!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Wurster in the Sea View house. The house was spotless when we arrived, and the check-in process was as easy as could be. Hector, the property manager, was there at check-in and easily accessible throughout the entire stay. When the town water went out for a few hours, we had a case of bottled water and gallons dropped off immediately. The pool is excellent, and so are the other amenities, especially the pickle ball court, which we used in the morning, in the middle of the day, and at night. The beach across the road is sublime and the water is welcoming. There are plenty of nice restaurants close by, and a few grocery stores as well. Whether you want to design your own vacation or just relax at the house, this place has it all. We had no trouble driving to the rain forest and to a horseback riding experience, and navigating to and from the house was easy. We would highly recommend any of the Casa Wurster houses to anyone. Superb 4-night stay for five of us.

Family vacation

Our family of 4 couples loved our stay@Casa Wurster. Great communication with the hosts before and during the trip. The location is beautiful with awesome views. The rental has a well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels/ linens, games, beach and pool toys. The people and area is very welcoming, you are able to walk to a small restaurant/ bar and minimart from the house a car is needed for other travels. We enjoyed the pool, pickle ball and walking to the property hill top. We explored areas of Puerto Rico, but still have areas on our list that will bring us back. Definitely would stay at Casa Wurster again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Hector has been the best host/property manager. We arrived the first day of the hurricane Ernestor. He was attentive to our needs, checked in to see how we were doing and responded quickly to our requests. We will definitely go there again.

Fabulous family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying here and will certainly do so again. The pool was super fantastic warm enough for us to be in it for hours daily. The Sea was fantastic and fun to jump the waves. We really enjoyed meeting Russ and enjoyed the tour he gave us. Hector was so kind and helpful. We cannot wait to return. The kitchen was well equipped and had every pot and pan we could need and enough spices to make our food taste great.

Beautiful property, house, pool, beach and court!

This was definitely best VRBO vacation our family of 7 had ever stayed! We were in the pool and beach everyday and especially appreciated the pool floats. We also enjoyed the pickleball and basketball court and the views from the hill and the landscaping. The house was also amazing. Perfect Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location/property. It was perfectly appointed and well suited for a family. It was in close proximity to great restaurants, beaches and activities. It is also a perfect rental for just relaxing by the pool. We enjoyed the onsite amenities...look-out point, pickle ball and ping pong. Lastly, our local host/property manager (Hector) was superb and was always available if we had questions. Highly recommend this rental. It won't disappoint! Casa Wurster

We LOVED ever second at this property. As all the reviews have said, Hector was AMAZING! Our flight was delayed and he was so accommodating and allowed us to check out a bit late. Everything you could possibly need, Sea View had it! Great location. Away from the touristy traffic and very chill on this side of the island. My husbands parents joined us for a bit and it was so nice to have the little “apartment” separate from the main house. It gave them a little more privacy and was much quieter than the main house with our loud teenagers. The pool was so nice to have and the location to the beach access was so close and so easy to get to. You have created a special place in a beautiful location. Could not have asked for a better 10 days in paradise. Thanks so much for hosting our family!

Sea View House

Amazing experience once again at Casa Wurster! This is our second time staying at this property and it was absolutely amazing. Booking with Cathy was super easy, Hector was amazing and super attentive, Russ the owner checking with us several times to just say hello and ensure we were enjoying our stay. I can’t say enough great things about this property. It was clean, spacious, had everything you need in the kitchen and several family games to enjoy! Pool is super clean and lots of pool toys, floats, and balls! I would definitely say this is a 10 star property!

Better than pictures

We stayed here with another family and it was nothing short of paradise. The pictures don’t don’t do it justice. We were in Sea view. Note that one of the bedrooms is downstairs in its own apartment which worked out very well for the 8 of us. Hector greeted us when we checked in. Everyone needs a Hector in their lives. He is kind, friendly and very helpful. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. House is clean, spacious and gated. We had a private pool but spent most of our time at the beach on the same property. I would absolutely stay here again. There isn’t a single thing I would change. Thank you for a lovely vacation.

Father's Day Family Annual Trip

The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, in the pool and recreation for the kids. The pool area had all the water toys for the kids. The water was perfect. The added surprise Hector told us about was the area to take pictures. That was absolutely breathtaking. The most difficult part was the commute. There are so many ways to arrive at the house but it was an experience we will never forget. That's what vacations are for!!! Thank you!

Perfect in every way! Clean, beautiful, & comfortable bedding.

Every review was 100% accurate. House is well furnished, very clean, stocked with tons of pool & beach toys, beach towels, & even coolers for the beach. There's another refrigerator in the pool house so you don't have to bring all food/drinks from the main house. Its the little conveniences like these that made our stay perfect. We felt as comfortable here as we do in our own home. Beautiful views from the balconies to enjoy morning coffee & sunset cocktails. We felt very safe in the gated community & Hector was just FABULOUS! He was there for anything we needed & beyond accommodating for our check in/check out. Hector loves what he does and was the best host we've encountered. Some reviews complained about the traffic noise but it's only a problem if you like to go to bed early & sleep very late. It would not stop us from staying here again. Plenty of games and toys kept the kiddoes entertained when we weren't at the pool or the beach. Perfect home for family to bring everyone together & away from all their electronics.

Family Spring Break

We loved the property and all it amenities. Loved the beach is right across the street. Héctor was very helpful. The only thing I missed was a large vertical mirror to check your outfits before heading out. Will love to visit again.

Hidden Gem

Casa Wurster is an amazing property that our family loves to visit. The property is amazing and the location is perfect for a relaxing get away. Our group enjoyed walking the hills, using all the amenities onsite and the ability to hit numerous beaches in the area. Hector is amazing as the property manager and is always on top of things..... He has become a true friend of mine. This is the 2nd year in a role we visited the property and both times we were able to enjoy time with the owner Russ. The amount of love and passion he has put into this property is truly amazing; a true labor of love. We will be back for sure!

Great property and hosts; noisy street; nearby beaches so-so

My wife and kids (9 and 5) rented Casa Wurster 2/16-2/23/2022. Positives: - owners are great hosts and very communicative/responsive. Great updates prior to our arrival, especially about COVID restrictions. Russ even brought us some bananas they had. - Hector - Everything you read about him is 100% accurate. He is amazing - timely, responsive, and helpful. - house - in great condition. Clean, well maintained, plenty of space. It’s stocked with all you need - kitchen supplies, beach towels, board games. Nice gas grill we used a couple of times and a ping pong table. - private pool - wonderful. Nice size, tons of pool toys, its own pool house with bathroom, fridge, grill, and sink. - property - amazing. Hike to the top and get phenomenal views. There’s a pickle ball/basketball court. Protected by a gate. - Location - Patillas has good restaurants overlooking the water. Arroyo is 10 min by car and has a grocery store and restaurants. - Punta Tuna - 25 min away with a gorgeous beach on a nature preserve. Really secluded, literally only two other people on the beach when we went. Postcard-beautiful scenery. Negatives: - house - only downside is that air conditioning is only in the bedrooms. It’s perfectly fine for sleeping, but the weather was too hot/humid to hang out in the living room, dining room areas at night. - Noise - we had to leave most of the windows open, but traffic on the road can get very loud, as the road is the main thoroughfare along the south coast. Trucks, motorcycles, buses - hundreds every day. On the weekend, we counted about 300 vehicles, many blasting their radios at really high volumes. If you want a vacation of peace and quiet, not going to get it. And on the property, there were backhoes and other heavy equipment that start drilling at 7a every morning. - nearby beach - it is only about 100 meters away, but the beach wasn’t that big. We checked out Patillas beach, but it too didn’t have much of a beach and had litter on the park grounds. We also got bitten ~80 times each by sand fleas. Rating the house and hosts - awesome! But because of traffic/noise, no A/C in the common areas, and beach options, not quite a perfect score.
