As advertised, this place was charming, comfortable, and beautiful! The house was well furnished, including a spacious refrigerator, adequate cooking utensils, coolers to take on adventures, a working washer and dryer, and air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The view from the back deck was incredible! I especially enjoyed taking my morning coffee out onto the rocky Beach to look for Seaglass in the morning, swinging in the hammock to read and listen to the ocean waves and tumbling rocks in the afternoons, and taking a dip in the pool and gazing up at the star filled sky at night! My only suggestion would be to give guests a heads up if they will be staying over a holiday weekend as there were many large groups of motorcycles roaring by and playing loud music throughout our first weekend there. We learned after the fact that it had been a holiday weekend. Had we known ahead of time, we may have altered the dates of our visit. The rest of our stay was quiet and peaceful.

Family friendly beach house

My family and I (5 adults, 3 children, and a baby) really enjoyed our stay at the Beach House. The property was the perfect size for our group. We enjoyed walking up and down the coastline picking up treasures and did most of our swimming in the pool. The pool is the perfect size for swimming with small children. The one adult that is a strong swimmer swam the Caribbean Sea, but the rest of us decided not to. We enjoyed the view, the sea breeze, and some BBQ during the 4th. We recommend this place place.

Lovely little beach house!

The home is small, but cute, clean, and comfortable. We loved it! We came into a large dining space that also worked as a throughway from the kitchen and entry area to the living area and bedrooms. The bathrooms were fantastic. Large showers with hot water. There was plenty of soap, towels, and toilet paper etc. We brought our laundry detergent and did several loads while there, which was helpful for our travel back.Bedrooms were comfortable and cool. We turned the A/C off when we were not using it, and the rooms cooled off quickly when we were ready to use them. Bedrooms were as described with fans, extra linens, a dresser, TV in main bedroom.The living area can get a bit warm without A/C, but we spent most of our time on the patio, where the breeze made it comfortable. When the sun went down, we watched TV in the living room, and it was comfortable with the ceiling fan and another fan. Kitchen was not super organized but we found what we needed and it was sufficient for cooking meals.The small pool was perfect for kids, great views, semi-private yard.The cons: noise level - the house is on a main road, and cars were very noisy. The beach is rocky and waves were huge the whole time we were there. Main bedroom did not have great access to outlets. Doors for house locked with a key from the inside, not a deadbolt, so if you did not have the key you could not unlock from the inside.All in all would recommend! Loved our stay in PR.

Great for the price. Beautiful side of the island. An hour plus from San Juan so that surprised us a little. I say plus because sometimes the traffic is nuts. The house was perfect and was perfect for what we needed, which was just a place to rest our heads and sleep. Hector, the contact for the property, was very knowledgeable and communicated with us before, during and after our stay. Would definitely rebook this property.

Great for a no frills relaxing getaway!!

We were looking for a slow paced, relaxing vacation away from all the hustle and bustle which is just what Aida’s location provided us. Relaxation can’t be avoided at this property. The house was clean and had all we needed. The beds in the two main rooms were incredibly comfortable for a VRBO. The kids bedroom was perfect for kids but, the bunk bed was loud and squeaky with any movement, perhaps just needs a few screws tightened. Upon arrival, I was slightly underwhelmed by the size of the pool but, it turned out to be perfect for relaxing, soaking up the sun and enjoying the sound of the waves. Recommendations would be to fix the lock in the back window so it could be opened to allow more of a breeze. Since there no A/C in the main part of the house, a screen on the front door to allow more of a breeze would have been wonderful. Being we were here in May it was not too much of an issue but, I am not sure about how well the current airflow would work in the peak of summer. I would also recommend updating the games available for use by guests. There is not a lot to do without a brief drive but, that is what were we’re looking for. Something off the tourist path yet close enough for day trips. Check in and out was easy. Hector was great at communicating and responding. All in all, we LOVED our time here and have been discussing dates we want to come back. Thank you, Aida and Hector.

Paradise!

Just what we needed! An outstanding experience. The house and pool were immaculate. Such a comfortable and well appointed home away from home. The views are just wonderful. Excellent communication and easy checkin. We enjoyed looking for shells and sea glass on the beach. Bring water shoes, the beach is rocky. So relaxing to enjoy the sunrise from the hammocks. Kitchen has everything you need. We can’t say enough good things about this place. Would love to come back!

Wonderful Stay

Cozy, clean home with wonderful view! We lost electricity for a few hours (Due to the blackout on the island) however back on by early evening. The fridge stayed very cold even with the power outage. We were out all day the day of the power outage hiking El Yunque - which was amazing day trip. Definitely bring mosquito spray! Hector and Aida stayed in touch and were very helpful with recommendations in the local area. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Host

Aida is an amazing host who provided generous care to my family and I during our stay. The house is great and equipped with cold A/C. One thing to note about the property is DO NOT SWIM in the beach. Not only are there plenty of rocks but the current is way too strong to swim in — even for experienced swimmers. Drive to another beach if you’re going to swim.

Great for the family

Property was amazing. Our family enjoyed the private pool and direct access to the beach. It was great for our kids to experience a different culture without excessive tourist. The house feels bigger than it looks in the photos. We had 8 people and had plenty of space. Hector, the property manager, is so welcoming and personable!

Relaxing Hideaway

Nice beachfront property. The view is amazing!! Beach is rocky, so not really great for swimming, but nice swimming beaches are not far away. Pool was very refreshing! Perfect for our family. Location is not far from grocery, gas, & dining... also reasonable distance from activities/landmarks that Puerto Rico is known for/has to offer. This was a wonderful place to stay and we definitely recommend!

Amazing views

The ocean views and the pool in the backyard are indescribable. We woke up to watch the sunrise every morning. The house itself could use a little updating and repair, but was comfortable enough for our stay. There are wonderful restaurants very close by. We loved "living like a local" for a month. Aida and her team made sure we had everything we needed and were quick to respond to any issues. I would gladly come back for another month!

Nice family vacation

The property met out needs. A little noisy turning over in the bunk bed and a bit crowded in that bed room. Lights flickered on and off when using the dryer or microwave. The beach and pool/ backyard provided lots of relaxing time. Overall, a nice stay. Would stay again.

The exterior of the property needs a little more maintenance. Perfect interiors. Beautiful and relax place. The refrigerator should be bigger, but maybe depends on the plans of the stay. The owners and the manager Hector are super attentive.

We had an amazing stay.

We had an amazing stay. The house is just as advertised. Perfect small town feel for a relaxing vacation. Grocery stores were about 15-20 minute drive. We were able to eat meals at home during the day and then go to amazing restaurants in the evenings. Hector was so nice and helpful. I just want to add that every single person we met on our stay was super friendly and always wanting to give us tips on what we should see and eat. Very Proud Community.

What a beautiful place!!

The property was adequately furnished for our stay. (We did contribute a couple of floaties for the pool though. 😀 ) But to spend a week soaking up the sights and sounds of this beautiful place was like being in paradise! Our only suggestions would be to stay on top of the maintenance, like making sure the pool lights work, and not sending the pool cleaning guy over in the middle of the day while we were in the pool. Otherwise, we would definitely come back and rent this place again! Thank you!!
