This review is inaccurate and frankly wrong on many points. First off, nobody lives in the house full time! We live in the city, and use it for weekends and holidays. We have used it more during covid, but it is NOT a fulltime residence. The refrigerator was NOT FULL. My cleaners assured me they only left condiments, and a few unopened items in the bottom vegetable drawer. Ive never had a smell of gas complaint, you should have called me and I would have sent my local handyman to investigate! There are only two dressers, one in master bedroom, and one in a guest bedroom, the personal items we leave in the house are locked in closets. The master bedroom dresser was EMPTY, as it always is and never has clothes in it. The other dresser did indeed have clothes in two drawers, that my son forgot to take out. I apologize! I dont know about the opened soap issue, but I am positve there were several bars of unopened soap in the bathrooms for use, as well as new shampoo. I was honestly taken aback by this review, Ive never had such a scathing take on my house... and I would only say the renter was having a bad day and feels good doing this for some reason..at least you liked the location ;-) I strive really hard to make the rental a great experience and take crits seriously. When someone complained of mosquitos a few summer ago, I hired a mosquito company to spray the yard every summer. I would also implore readers to look at other reviews, as they are OVERWHELMINGLY postive.

Doug I am sorry your stay wasn't great in your eyes...This is actually the first review I've had that hasn't been overly glowing and 5 stars, as you can see by the rest of the reviewers....Yes this is our weekend house and we do use it to get out of the city. We do however have renters in mind with the way we have set it up. The closets ARE locked in the master bedroom precisely TO keep our lives out of yours, and you failed to mention that there is a full dresser in the master bedroom that is TOTALLY EMPTY for renters use. I'm not sure what you mean by the "4th bedroom" not having a bed, as it actually does have a bed. It's a hi-end fold down couch/futon with great sheets, pillows, and comforter, and its always set up as a bed for renters use. Its not as lux as the rest of the bedrooms as we also use it as a home office, but it is still very chic and comfortable, in my opinion. I apologize for the crystal doorknob on the master bath door not being tight, we try to be perfect but little stuff does happen. There IS an iron for sure, in the cabinet above the washing machine. A simple call or email and I could have steered you to it. If the refrigerator had food in it, it was condiments and little stuff that most people find useful and helpful. The area behind the microwave by the fan switch is next to the stovetop, and perhaps it was greasy as its behind the microwave and out of the way, I do apologize. Again I am sorry your experience wasn't what you had hoped for. I assure you we strive to make every guest happy and feel like the house is their own private oasis for their stay. Best, Nat
