The main level is one open, easygoing space — a queen bed framed by soft lamplight and rich wood grain, plus a sitting area for the slow part of the morning. The full bathroom's wide double vanity keeps the morning routine from turning into a negotiation. Up the stairs, the loft is the part guests fall for: tucked beneath the pitch of the roof, wood running floor to ceiling, with a second queen bed and the kind of hushed, cabin-in-the-treetops feeling you can't really design on purpose.

Outside, the setting does the heavy lifting. This corner of Paso Robles is all rolling hills, old oaks, and long rows of vines running toward the ridgelines — quiet enough that you notice the birds, close enough that nothing is far. Templeton's small downtown is a short drive east, and downtown Paso Robles is about twenty minutes on, with its shaded city park, weekend farmers market, and a restaurant scene that punches above the town's size. Sensorio's field of lights makes for a memorable evening, and Highway 46 drops you at the ocean in roughly half an hour — Moonstone Beach at Cambria, the bluff trails at Estero Bluffs, Morro Rock rising out of the bay, and Hearst Castle up the coast. Come back at dusk, when the hills go amber and the barn glows against the trees, and you'll understand why the name stuck.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
