"At more than 250 years old, the BRI is showing a bit of wear around the edges, but remains elegant and comfortable. Our lovely suite (larger than our NYC apartment) was comfortable and well-appointed and the staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. its a;lso a beautiful corner of the world, with rolling, wooded hills and fine dining scattered across the countyrside."

"The room was probably the smallest American hotel room I had ever used. But it was great for what i was using it for, which was sleeping. Needs more outlets, and a larger shower with a higher shower head (only at shoulder height). "

"Everything seemed very good about our stay here—nice staff and clean room. However, the day after I discovered that I had multiple bites all over my body which must have occurred that night. Unfortunately, I can’t think of any other explanation besides the presence of bed bugs or some kind of bug in the bedding :/ "

"staff was very responsive and we were pleasantly surprised by how fresh smelling the rooms are. Not always so in motel settings.We would definitely stay there again. Bess ruff ruffed her approval as well."

"Staff is excellent as is the decor and service both at the hotel, restaurant and rooftop. Not well known but the air conditioning in the room can be very loud and there are no TV’s in the room. The street is very walkable and there are several excellent restaurants within a quick walk or 10 min drive. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely- as was the restaurant. Great long weekend stay! "
