Keswick Country House Hotel
The room was spotless but shabby. The hotel are clearly refurbishing the rooms as our friends had a refurbished one. The windows were too fragile to open so the room smelt a bit musty. Food was amazing, staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere.

The Grange Country House
We had a lovely greeting and our room (Room 1), was lovely. A big room and very comfortable. We had breakfast for the 2 days and it was a great breakfast. The service was excellent throughout our stay.

The King's Head Inn
Staff were brilliant, friendly & efficient. Lovely fire in the lounge was fab after a days walking

Wainwright Log Burner
We arrived early so had a drink in the bar, check in was at 4 but they started to let people check in at 15:40, it was smooth and there were no issues, the lady was friendly and very helpful. As we got to the lodge the main entrance was covered in bird poo, that had definitely been left there a while, ...
