"Great staff, very helpful. We were in room 1 which is a clean modern room. You do hear a little traffic noise but not enough that it's an issue. Just watch you don't rest a bare knee on the heated towel rail when you're sat on the toilet!"

Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Lady in reception was lovely and as it was a quiet time of the month she kindly gave me an upgrade. The room was spacious and warm. Nice little bar and a great space for dining and breakfast. I dined in at the hotel and the guiness pie and mash was great, although could've done with a small amount of veg. No problem with parking, lots of space. If staying in the area, I would stay here again."

"We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "

"Imagine you’re an adventurer in an RPG video game. This is the inn. Exactly what I wanted. It’s cozy and warm. BTW parking is in the back , you have to drive around the block and take that one way street Angels cafe is on. "
