Valley seen during a hike from Bondhus/sunndal to Bondhusdalen lake at the bottom of the glacier #takeahike

It took us around two hours to get to the glacier through heavy rain, sleet, rough terrain and wind which threatened to blow our brains away. Not the easiest hiking route, I have to admit (well, it might be if the weather is welcoming and you're wearing a nice pair of water resistant boots) needless to say we were lacking any of those (dumb us). At some points you literally have to balance on a rope (very wet with ice cold water streaming down the sleeves as you're grabbing it) 90 degrees up the rocks. The very end is breathtaking though-massive pile of snow, ice and waterfalls all pale blue as the air is ridiculously clean there. Take extra care, however, the surfaces, little bridges and pathways get really slippery if it rains. Avoid if you're travelling with small children.
