"This was a really great experience! Just a 5 minute walk up and down the hill from the bus stop, this stay has it's own vegetable garden, great views of the tea fields, trail access, and beautiful points to watch the sunrise and set. The staff were very helpful, spoke English, and helped plan a day trip for you, especially helping figure out public transit. The hot pot dinner (extra cost though very reasonable) was delicious and the breakfast (included) was also very yummy. Highly recommend...

This advantage may be the disadvantage the same time, because for these tourists who come to Alishan first time, transportation between the Alishan park entrance (the transportation hub) and the hotel is a little bit confusing. "We had an amazing stay at Sun Moon Home. They offered an unique city getaway experience - traditional countryside dining, spacious apartment with a lovely private hot tub, and a cozy cafe that serves delicious desserts.
