"Alcanea Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem in Chania! Eva was exceptional, checking in on us when our flight was delayed, providing us with detailed recommendations of restaurants and beaches then following up with us on our return. The location was incredible and the interior and exterior of the 500 year old building provided for such a unique experience. "Beautiful stay , staff so warm and welcoming , very peaceful and spotlessly clean - George and the team answered all our questions and gave good recommendations. Rooms were huge so much spce and shower really powerful . Breakfast was ok enouh to keep going , but you must have a car , we didnt and had to rely on buses which was a bit awkward as there is nothing nearby - if you want peace and quiet this is your place , specialmention to Katherine and her lovely cakes"

"The location was accessible and a 5 minute drive to the old port. The grounds were pristine and the building had great modern urban styling. The amenities (I dont normally comment about) were excellent. Thank you for the friendly excellent service. Would stay here again. "

"Room was very clean and completely furnished of everything needed, we even got an unexpected welcome drink which was a true surprise. We appreciated also the small coffee/tea kit for breakfast. Position is very centric, less than 5min away from bus station and very close to the old town and harbour. The only thing to consider is that our room didn't have window, so for longer stays it can be an inconvenient."
