"Property was close to all the areas I wanted to go to in Forster. Very friendly staff"

"On arrival, the staff advised my partner and I that there was a issue with the room that was booked and were upgraded to the Bowie room. The staff advised about about the restaurants close by. The room was well laid out. The meals we had there were very good, Saturday night and Sunday lunch there was live music. We were a short walk from the beach. This is a great place to make it home base while you travel around the Manning and Great Lakes area. Great place to stay if or on your own or with...

"Quiet family room, good WiFi, thank you Shall return 👍"

"The room was clean and it suited our overnight stop over."

"Friendly staff, clean and tidy room, awesome food, great location, very well priced"

"Room was clean and spacious, the property does need some updating but nothing that would stop me staying again. Might be time to look at the beds though, the mattress felt a bit tired"

"This hotel feels fresh and modern after its recent updates, and the staff truly make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spotless with beautiful new fixtures, and the team goes out of their way to help with recommendations and local requests, making our stay smooth and stress-free"

"Central, clean and well maintained comfortable bed, great for the price, recommended if you want a quick easy and comfortable couple of nights"

"At first it looked a little run down but was very clean, close to town and staff were very helpful, I’d stay here again."

"Greeted at Reception by a charming lady with a big smile & welcoming manner. Unit was at same standard as a motel room which would come at a noticeably higher price. One not-very-important gripe: car access within the park would benefit from paving of some sort. It must be a messy goat-track in rainy weather."

"The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Slept so well. Ideal place to overnight when travelling from Brisbane to Sydney."

"I stay here because the location to regional and local buses is convenient, and the lake view is beautiful. Bistro and bar below is handy. Biggest complaint is the housekeeping staff was knocking on the door at 8:45 to 9:30 every morning, too early since I didn’t need to leave until 10:00am each day. I tried to get out of the room to avoid that. Floor was never vacuumed and coffee cups weren’t cleaned or replaced until I asked. Shower temperature runs hot and cold while you’re in there. Patio...

"The facilities arr quite good. The pool looked clean (didn't use it) the bedding was crisp and clean and the room had good provisions (decent size tv, kettle, fridge, microwave). The room is due for a reno. There was paint peeling from the roof, bathroom sink had a few rust stains and the room door had some dodgey repairs in it. Having said that, you have to take into account the price you pay and the star rating of the hotel. I would have no problem staying here again"

"Check in was easy as was check out. Very friendly staff. Room was well maintained albeit old. Bed was very comfortable. Meals aren’t available at the motel but there are a heap of good eateries nearby, around a two minute walk. Great place to rest up after a long drive from Tenterfield."

"Even though the property has recently been renovated it is still fairly "old age". Some parts of the internal layout are not very functional. Good for a short stay."

"We loved the place except the tradies working below started making noise around 7am and went through until 4pm could not stay at the property threw the day too long as too much noise. Which was disappointing as it it a fantastic place."

"The guy who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette with a full size fridge was handy. Unfortunately, there was no washing up liquid or tea towel. The shower was very difficult to use without getting water all over the bathroom due to the size and the curtain. The bathroom could have also benefited from some hooks and bench space. The queen bed was very uncomfortable due to the old mattress that needs to be replaced. The single was very comfortable. Overall, not bad but not...

"The room was a great size and comfortable. The property is very dated and tired, but it is functionally fine, especially for a short stay. We had a small issue with out room and the staff were EXCELLENT at fixing it immediately for us, despite it being after hours. Cannot fault their handling of the situation. As brand new owners they were very apologetic, however it was out of everyone's control. what was in their control is how they handled it, which was perfect. A credit to the property!"

"A great place to stay. The proprietor was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The location is brilliant too. Close to everything, but just far enough away to be 'quiet'. Will definitely return to Bella Villa!"
