"This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent."

Exploring the house and the gardens was lovely. Being so close a visit to Yering station for a deliciou wine tasting made for another unexpected and easy to fit in activity. "We had a very pleasant stay.It was warm,clean ,well equipped kitchen and very very generous amount of breakfast provided. Communication was excellent and we got all our amenities well. Highly recommended for a family of 4 or 5 for lotus 3 which was our stay for 2 nights.it was amazing .surely coming back again."

Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. "The beds were very comfortable. The shower was good but I didn't like the exhaust fan coming on when you turned the light on in the bathroom because it made the room very cold. It is a shame that they don't have a separate switch."
