"Very nice place. Well maintained with a lovely hot tub. Good bar on site. We had some issues checking in and can only assume that was down to Expedia (we did not get key code which caused some issues). Would return."

"We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. "

"The location is the big selling point; views over the lake are exceptional. The menu has a good choice, but doesn't vary from day-to-day. That could become an issue for a longer stay, but if it looks good on the menu, it will be good when it's served. The location sold it, but the staff made the trip exceptional. "Downstairs in the pub and restaurant i cannot fault it, the place is well maintained and clean. The bar is well stocked however it was very busy with only one staff working. Food was excellent and a great variety of choice. Breakfast was limited but the full English was brilliant. Upstairs really needs a refurbishment, the rooms are dated and tired, having said that it was clean and water/ coffee refreshed each morning."

"Dinner menu is good and servings great. We were surprised at breakfast when they allocated each room to a table. It helps when starting the day You have to choose the breakfast menu and time the night before but that's better for both the property and the guests as both will know what to expect "

There are 2 main roads each side of the hotel and it was very noisy.when booking they did say they didn't have a car park,but it was ok to use the hotel across the road,there isn't an hotel across the road.the only parking was a cricket club 500mtrs plus down the Rd to park at"
