The room was clean and warm with a separate toilet and shower that worked well. The breakfast was great with a choice of cereal, lots of high quality full english breakfast items and toast with jams. "A lovely county pub in a nice setting. Clean, comfortable rooms with lots of little extras, fresh milk, free water and a little bottle of chocolate port. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub itself served good food. Would highly recommend."

"This hotel is a characterful gem. Relaxed vibe. The guy running the hotel is very friendly and if you have any issue or request you can whatsapp him rather than going to reception, which I found super convenient. I wish more hotels did that! Tip: Buy bottled water for drinking as hot water mixes in with the cold tap. "
