"Very nice place and a hostess who's about as helpful and nice as they come. We stayed for 2 weeks. Found it a bit cramped for 2 adults and 2 cocker spaniels for that extended period. We knew it was small to beigin with so that's our fault. It would've been fine for shorter periods. Cabin and grounds were immaculate. We could've eaten off the floor. Great boat docking space. "My 3 adult children and I booked the cabin for my husband's 70th birthday. We went fishing in four different locations. No one caught anything. My husband said that was not important.....the important thing was that we were together and had created a special memory. We enjoyed each other's company as well as the cabin. "We normally do not complain about anything but since the owner messaged me accusing me of a small hole that was there when we got there along with other holes there.When we first walked through the door there was an empty Dr pepper can on the shelf to the left,the floors were dirty with dirt and sand(had to sweep the floors to walk barefooted comfortably) The cabinet and counter top the left of the stove was full of ants. "Would consider staying there again, but would first consider other alternatives. Pros - lots of room, 3 bedrooms, nice back porch, nice kitchen. Cons - showers bad, no pressure, hot water barely warm, towels well used, living room large, but only 2 chairs, no couch for family viewing of tv, little amenities like facial tissues would have been nice. "The space was cheerful, clean and comfortable. The unit has such character and a unique design. The bathroom is a little small but is a great use of space. Due to the historic qualities of the house the ceilings are low for tall folks over about 6'2". The host was also just as cheerful and charming!"
