"Just had a superlative stay at this recently refurbished hotel. We were awoken in our charming, comfortable and individual room to deers and donkeys running around in the ground. The public rooms are gorgeous, so much love and taste has gone into designing it and it seems like all the staff genuinely love working here, they are happy and keen to help. The value for money is outstanding. Perfect!"

"Lovely stay in one of the smaller, cosy doubles. Room nicely decorated and the whole pub had a really nice, cosy vibe. Food was great, always such a wide menu with large portions. Good ale and wine selection too. "

"The reception staff were incredible, and the gentleman was very accommodating and helpful for my specific requirements. Breakfast was a £14 cost regardless of what you had and due to doing a race that morning I only ate minimal. Aside from this, I feel this was counteracted by the service I received and would recommend the hotel. "Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."
