  • Want to take a vacation that is close to the Lancaster County Pa. Dutch Country attractions yet away from the hustle and bustle, this may be the perfect setting.
    This 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, with eat in kitchen, living/ family area, and large deck, abode sleeps four (not limited to) may be what you are looking for.
    There is a big screen and dvd player, washer & dryer, and Wi - Fi. However, no cable TV.
    You will find yourself with in 20 to 30 minute drive from Sight & Sound Theaters, Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park, Strasburg Railroad, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Rockvale and Tanger Outlets, Kitchen Kettle Village, Long Wood Gardens, Herr's Potato Chip Factory, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, and many quilt shops and buggy rides etc.
    You will experience the joy of country living, and relaxation.

Barbara is an excellent host. Any questions were answered in a timely manner. The property is spotless, with whatever you could possibly need. We had such a pleasant experience that we’ve already booked another stay.

Beautiful and clean place. Centralized to the things we wanted to do while in PA. Very comfortable and has all you need plus more. I will be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and very clean cozy place. Hosts were very responsive to all communications before and during our stay. Great location situated on a country road between West Chester and Lancaster with shopping and restaurants nearby.

We had a quiet relaxing stay at the Black Horse Farm Guest House. It was comfortable, clean and convenient. We would stay here again.

Our party of 4 really loved the property and location! We especially enjoyed the deck and beautiful and scenic backyard, complete with cows and a horse. My daughter fell in love with the cat that would visit. The home was very warmly and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and we cooked our meals daily. They had an awesome washer/dryer set which we used often. The owner offered to bring by her puppies which was sweet, but we were out for the day. Some things we missed having at the rental were an ice maker, a dishwasher, and comfortable bedding, as all of us thought the beds were quite uncomfortable. Also, in the guest bedroom there are 2 twin beds and my 6 ft son did not fit on the mattress so i do not think they are the Twin XL size if you have men in your party. Lastly, in the guest room there was no night stand or lamp which was an inconvenient set up but we made do with a side table from the living room. Along those same lines, there was little to no counter space in the 2nd bathroom and an extra shelf or table in there would have been really helpful especially in dressing for a formal event. Overall we loved this peaceful piece of paradise but I hope they can upgrade their mattresses at some point for future guests.

Anniversary relaxation

Exactly what we were looking for secluded quiet and everything we needed was there for us very quiet and peaceful and close enough to get anything we wanted
