The location in the middle of the old town was awesome, you can walk up and down the street and see all the shops and restaurants. I didn't see many other hotels that had as good a location. On Sunday there was a street fair just blocks from the hotel so after we checked out we were able to leave the car where it was and see it.
This being July, the room was warm but we opened the windows fully right when we got there and left them open for the duration of our stay so it was fine.
We went on the nearby Mirror Lake scenic byway, it was incredibly beautiful with lots of lakes, hiking trails and picnic sites plus a 10,000 foot mountain pass which still had a little snow on it in late July.
My main gripe was the parking, which I blame mostly on Park City itself, not the hotel. There are only 2 lots in the whole area that you can park in overnight and they are confusing at first to find even with maps and GPS but once you find them the first time its ok.
