Wonderful stay in Cornwall

We had an excellent week-long holiday at Pebble Cottage. The property is perfect for couples or a small family. It is clean, comfortable and incredibly well-equipped; particularly the kitchen, which contains good quality cookware, utensils and crockery. Cathy and Nigel were brilliant hosts. They provided an abundance of information and helpful suggestions prior to our holiday and in the cottage itself, they provide a folder containing useful maps and recommendations for places to visit. We took our dog on holiday with us and she was well catered for too!!! Bedding, bowls and towels all provided, which was great. Cathy and Nigel really do provide a home away from home and put a lot of thought into making your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Tywardreath is a lovely villiage and brilliantly situated for visiting some of the best tourist spots in the area - Fowey, Port Isaac, Mevagissey and Polperro to name but a few. The cottage is a short walk to the fantastic, dog-friendly Par beach, which our dog adored. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

A great stay!

We had a lovely stay at Pebble Cottage. It is very well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. Little one enjoyed exploring and the garden was a welcoming space as well. The location is close to many attractions. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is modern and conveient. Peaceful village and very good advice from the owners.

Lovely Cottage

Cottage was just as described, in a lovely part of Cornwall and only 10mins to the Eden Project and some lovely beaches. Beautifully decorated and Cathy had left some homemade Halloween cakes for the children, very thoughtful.

Fabulous cottage in a great location

Everything about this place was perfect. A lovely spacious 2 bed cottage that has been really well thought out. With all the little perfect touches it felt like a genuine home from home. Cathy & Nigel really have thought of everything be it for you, your kids or in our case your dog, and these things really make a difference. The village is lovely and well located for walks, pubs, the beach and other nearby towns and villages. To top it all, the effort Cathy goes to to ensure you're happy, have all you need and even provide great local advice and recommendations really tops it off. We also own a holiday cottage so can be quite particular but would find it very hard to fault this!

Holiday with dogs

Cannot praise pebble cottage enough everything anyone could ever want from knives and forks and washing machine and everything in between so clean and comfortable and so dog friendly as we had two Labs with us we couldn't have asked for more dog beds bedding walled garden so recommended

A fab cottage well located in a quiet village but everything a stones throw away.

A great experience- a well equipped cottage meant we had everything to hand and the travel cot and high chair helped us travel light. Loads of info on the local area made it easy to get around and make the most of our stay.

Lovely family and dog friendly cottage

We had a lovely time here summer 2019 - Cathy and Nigel made us very welcome in this well equipped and beautifully decorated cottage. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep and very dog friendly. We really enjoyed our week and are keen to come back as there is so much to do in the vicinity. Our dog was kept company by the lovely Boo and we would wholeheartedly recommend the cottage to all.

Great property

A lovely clean property with great amenities both inside and locally. The owners had provided all the essentials which was a nice touch. Whilst we stayed it rained on a couple of days but there were board games for all ages and we didn’t get bored

Pebble cottage is a great location, so accessible by car or by foot. Child & Dog friendly.

We loved your cottage, it was so clean, cosy & well thought out. Thank you for all our homely welcomes , from the delish cakes, too the dog treats for Chip. Making Pebble Cottage so grand children friendly as well as dog friendly. The back garden was ideal for eating as well as planning our next adventures. We all enjoyed taking advantage of the sit on kayaks as well as your BBQ. There are so many great walks around we didn't have time to do them all. We explored new places such as Trebah Gardens. Found the Rashleigh Inn for evening meals by the sea. Looking forward to coming back and we will defo recommend your cottage to family and friends. The Convery Gang, Young Fitz & Chip.

Pebble was perfect for our stay!

Firstly I would like to say thank you for the great communication and information from Cathy prior to our arrival, all emails responded to promptly. This was our first stay in this area in Cornwall and it didn’t disappoint! The cottage is in a great position to explore Cornwall without too much effort, however if you don’t want to travel far the village , par sands and surrounding area is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is welcoming, clean, cosy and has all you need for your stay. It has clearly been given care and thought for its visitors. We had planned to venture out and eat locally however we were blessed with fantastic weather and decided to eat in . The cottage is well equipped and has a sunny aspect , private courtyard garden, plenty big enough for dining outside for a family , including a very contented spaniel! This is a business for Cathy, but after meeting her it’s more than that. She really does want you to be happy in her home and have a lovely stay, nothing was too much trouble! Once again thank you for a lovely stay, from The Fields and Cooper

Sensationell schön und entspannend 🥰👍

Ein mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Cottage und super sauber. Wir haben uns einfach nur mega wohlgefühlt und wären am liebsten dort geblieben. Der Empfang vor Ort war mit viel Herz und wir sind froh dort Gäste gewesen zu sein. Selbst für unsere Hündin war ALLES vorhanden Betti, Näpfe und Gudi. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen worüber wir sehr froh gewesen sind, so konnten wir gut entspannen. Von hier aus kann man viele schöne Ausflüge machen oder einfach nur baden gehen. Ich kann es nur jedem ans Herz legen hier ein paar entspannte Tage zu verbringen!!!♥️

Dog and child friendly cottage with all home comforts

Lovely cottage in a quiet village within half an hour’s walk of Par Sands. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, homemade cakes and dog treats on arrival, excellent value for money. Key safe so good if you are arriving late. If I’m being really picky we didn’t like the pillows and couldn’t find an ironing board. The low ceilings might be a problem for a very tall person.

Cosy Character Cottage near the sea!

We had a lovely few days at Pebble Cottage with our dog, a cosy, clean and very homely cottage equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! The homemade cakes & dog treats on arrival were a very nice touch =D We had a fantastic meal at the Polgooth Inn the chips are to die for! Beach a short drive (or walk) at Par plus endless choices of other beaches & fishing villages nearby. The only negative for us was that the 2 king beds were very soft, but of course that is a personal preference. Nigel & Cathy left us to enjoy our weekend, but were on hand if we needed them during our visit. Thank you Nigel & Cathy for letting us book 2 days during a busy period.
