Stayed here with my husband and 3 children in July.
Good bits
Outside space was excellent. Nice size pool and surrounding garden area. Pool table and darts was a great addition, however pool cues worn or broken which was a little frustrating.
Location was great for us. Walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants.
The bad bits
The actual villa was very bland. Not homely with regards to decor, soft furnishings etc. The kitchen was poorly equipped. No tea towels, bbq, but no tools, no baking trays. We have stayed in other villas and had a welcome pack on our arrival, bread, milk, biscuits etc (in some wine included!) none of that here, just uht milk & a bottle of water.
The main problem and probably the reason we won’t return was the curtains……or lack of them. Only one of the 3 bedrooms had blinds. The other 2, including the master bedroom has very thin voile type curtains. As soon as the sun came up we were woken. In the end we had to peg towels up at the windows to block out some of the light.
Also so mirror in the master bedroom, or dressing table for doing your hair or make up
It’s the little things that make a holiday special. When u work all year for a summer holiday u just want it to be perfect.
We did enjoy our stay, but would we return….probably not.
